What scares you the most?

Out of that list pain is the worst. For me at least. Death is one of those things that's inevitable, so you can either worry about it or accept it and try not to fret about things like that.

 

Failure with pain being a close second

 

Lack of WiFi really.

 

All of those are terrifying!!!

I'm a total scaredy-cat...

Death is probably most terrifying, but I don't spend a lot of time dealing with that fear since people I know don't die so often, so if we're going by which fear most often scares me, I guess it would be failure or pain. I worry a lot about letting people down, and a sense of pain comes right along with it.

It's hard to vote on the poll because the question and the answers could mean a lot of different things.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I voted 'pain' on the poll.

 

No longer does anything you listed hold power over me.

 

I can get by perfectly fine without internet, so long as I don't need to look anything essential up. I take pain in my stride. Death doesn't bother me in the slightest (right now at least). But for me, failure and rejection go hand in hand. If I've been rejected, I've failed in my ambitions, and if I fail, I've been rejected from the exclusive 'pass club'.

 

Rejection.

 

I would have to choose failure. Death doesn't scare me particularly and I can face rejection and pain if needs be. But failure, (on a massive scale, not like failing a test), is a worry of mine, especially when it involves people that I care about.

 

What I fear the most is that me or someone I care about get seriously sick or injured.
On the poll options, I think all of those are scary but I voted on Pain

Pretty much everything. Death, failure, ending up all alone...

 

Rejection, I'd say.

 

I put rejection, but I definitely also fear failure (I am kind of confused / scared [thinking about it now] that I don't fear death).

I couldn't decide between fear or failure, but then I thought about it and I avoided telling my crush for two years that I liked him so rejection is obviously a big fear of mine; also, I'm not out so I fear rejection from others.

I also fear failure in academics and life though; I fear not performing my best and being disappointed in the results or not ending up "successful"

 

I welcome death and failure. Death because it's normal, and failure so i can get back up and try even harder. So lack of internet access. <3 So many video games wouldn't be played that day.

 

Failure, because all the other alternatives don't shock me anymore.

 

Rejection scares me the most. Rejection in my personal life, professional life. Also, rejection from friends and family because I am gay. I definitely don't want to end up alone in life.

Failure is a learning opportunity and not something to fear. Learn why you failed and then correct it so that you do not fail next time.

Death is part of living. Yes losing a loved one is one of the hardest things you'll go through in life, but we all go through it. As for me dying, yeah I think about it, but you can't live your life in fear because we know someday it's going to happen. If you live your life in fear of death and never take any risk then why is life worth living?

Pain is temporary, it's a state of mind.

Lack of internet- No. I enjoy the internet. Use it everyday, but not having it would not scare me.

 

Failure probably. If I died today id only be sad because I died before I ever got to experience the world. Never had my first love or first job or went off to college yet, so it's like I failed to live a full life. Dying doesn't scare me, just not living my life and not doing what I really want to is what scares me. So, failure is it really. And rejection is pretty scary but I haven't had too much experience with it other than a few occasions so we'll see if that changes.

 

I said failure, no matter how hard I try it always seems to come back to that one word.

 

Pain hurts.

 

Global warming and/or global destruction by humans.

We may be able to fix/turn these problems, but everyone must do their part!
