No. I'd let break up with them and give them a warning about getting near me again. I'm a Buffy girl, not a Twilight girl. Vampires are gross.

 

Probably, it depends on what as a vampire, I will be able/ unable to do. Will I have to kill every time I feed? Will I have to surrender sunlight? Will the dog hate me (the cat already does)? Can I turn others and form a vampire gang? Can I still eat and drink normal stuff? Can I shapeshift? I need info before I commit.

 

I'd beg them to bite me. I love dat blood.

I would drive a stake through them. Not the next day; right then. I would never want to be a vampire, and the idea of being immortal sucks.

Now if they were a werewolf, that would be a whole other story.

 

This is so true. XD I don't know how anyone could cuddle with a vampire, I'd run away as fast as I could. (I'd stake them but I don't think I could be able to because they have super strength and I don't)

 

FUCKING YES!!!!! I feel such a strong connection with the idea of a vampire; some turned against their own will, and forced to live some kind of unlife through horrible acts. It is similar to how I feel as a trans person, trapped and not yet being able to escape, an never fully escape, and have to live life with dysphoria, and everyone treating you like a monster. Dysphoria being horrible, blood drinking being horrible. I don know, but Ive always felt a connection with vampires.

Nope. For a start I wouldn't be dating a vampire because they aren't real, and I'm not a sad 11 year old girl that has a crush in sparkley film vampires.

Don't assume every 11 year old ''girl'' crushes on sparkly vampires in films.. In my case and many others we crushed on sexy female vampires. Male vampires are.. No.. Just no. :lol: I'm just clearing things up about your idea of 11 year old girls.

 

Well for a start I'd be quite surprised they managed to slip this not-so-little detail about themselves past me in the first place. If the cold skin didn't tip me off and they somehow avoided ever walking past a mirror in my presence or the decorative string of garlic that is hanging in my home, and I failed to noticed that I'd never encountered them in sunlight during the time we've been dating. Then again that last one is kind of explicable being as I'm quite nocturnal myself. Perhaps I'm a vampire too? *checks* no. I did in fact seem to acquire a slight tan this year, and despite a patch of sunburn on my leg I do not recall bursting into flames at any point. Phew!

I've been somewhat put off vampires in recent years by some of the current fictional depictions. I remember them being a lot more badass - or that might just be nostalgia.


As to whether or not I'd let my vampire girlfriend bite me; it depends.

If they are proposing that they turn me into one with a view that we spend the rest of eternity striking fear into the night together as a sexy gothic duo in a cool castle with secret passages and such I might consider.

I'm not letting them do it just because they fancy a midnight snack but feel like staying in.

That actually brings up a good question.. Could a vampire infect you via other methods, in the same manor someone with an STD could, or can we assume he's clean from the chin-down?
