I recently came out to my parents, and right now am feeling ready for my family to know and a few very close friends. I have two older brothers who both live in different parts of the country, so I decided to talk to them over the phone. I wanted my immediate family to be on the same page before too long. I texted them that I wanted to talk and individually talked to both of them this weekend. It went pretty much as well as I can ask for and they were both very supportive. They said that they wanted me to be happy and they were there to talk if I needed to. I am really glad that my family has been so great about this, it has really made things easier for me.
