If you shave, do you use a blade razor or electric/battery shaver? Would you be brave enough to try an open blade (barbers cut-throat razor)? Is your choice of shaving equipment influenced by anything, eg. closeness of shave, razor burn issues? Personally, I cannot use shavers and I have seriously considered an open blade.

If you don't shave, do you use a beard trimmer to keep things neat or do you have a fairly bushy or wild beard?

Haha no open blades for me! I accidentally cut myself just fine with a regular gillete razor.

I can't grow facial hair very well (slow process and it is so patchy), but at least out of my three brothers I grow the 'best' facial hair.

I use a razor and a beard trimmer. Since I keep a goatee, I shave the rest of my face with shaving cream and a disposable razor and then use a Phillips Norelco beard trimmer to trim my beard down.

I've let my facial hair grow but it seems to only grow around my chin/jaw area with slight stubble going up towards my sideburns and around the top of my neck. I can't grow a full on beard however. When I do shave, I use a razor and shaving cream (my reasons mostly are because they do the job so might as well use 'em lol) but since I have really stubborn facial hair, I have to use a tweezer to tweeze the rest. And usually after shaving, I do a facial wash/exfoliate my skin after.

And in regards to the open blade - ehhh, no. It seems like a cool experience though.

I like to have a close shave so I use a razor. Normally go over twice. Tried an electric razor for a week and it did not shave close enough for me. Might try an open blade someday if I see one in the store.

I use a razor, but would use a real blade if I had one. For style, of course  (where nobody can see me)

I like having an androgynous look, so I don't let facial hair or any body hair besides the head hair grow out.

Using a non-electric razor gets the closest shave.

I use a non-electric razor, because my facial hair is thin and I like getting a close shave. Also electric razors are scary.

I use a face wash, then shave cream and a Gillette Fusion.
Once a week I also use a face scrub.

Razor. I hate beards. Seriously why would you want pubes growing on your face?

I generally use a razor, though occasionally an electric shaver. I absolutely hate shaving but I do it every day because I dislike facial hair more.

I'm letting it grow out. When I did shave, a basic razor did the trick.

Electric Shaver. When I was a kid around the time I was in puberty and first started having facial hair. I wanted to shave like an "adult" and so used a razor. I accidentally CUT my lip. Hence to say I got traumatized. I've never put a blade anywhere near my body ever again.

I do want to let it grow out a bit, but I may get a few stares as I'm not out yet. :icon_redf

I keep a small beard just from my ears along my the line of my face. Partially because I like it and partially because I'd have to shave daily to keep my face hairless.
I use a simple razor and trim using small scissors or if I've put it off to long, an electrical trimmer.

I personally love beards and facial hair. My mom as I was growing up told me that I probably wouldn't like it---it would be too scratchy, etc. against my skin.

When I went off to college and had some experiences with other guys I realized that I LOVED it. Then I told my mom. she just doesn't understand :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

that being said, I prefer neat facial hair. Some scraggle is ok, but not tooo s*****y.

I use those disposable razors. I have found that, just because some are more expensive and have these little features here and there, they are no better. The cheaper ones have worked quite well.

Upon beginning to shave, I actually purchased a brand name electric razor. It was awful. It irritated my skin and it didn't do a very good job of removing facial hair. It ended up in the trash.

I use a Gillette fusion proglide razor on my face with Aveeno shave gel. I keep a rechargable electric in my car for touch ups. I can't wait to get laser treatment done.
