Hi I am new to this. I have tried to find answers on my own unsuccessfully. I hate to say that I am confused, but I am confused, I think. For the past few years I have been attracted to women. I haven't told anyone close to me because I'm still trying to figure things out and part of me already knows what they're reaction would be. Anyway, I attracted to men still and women. I'm not into labels but if I were I don't know if I would be bi-curious or bisexual considering I haven't acted on any of my thoughts or feelings. And that's only because its not like people who are bi have labels on there foreheads saying I'm. It's just so hard to find people like myself especially where I live. I need help, and I welcome any thoughts, or suggestions anyone might have. Looking forward to hear from you guys.

Hello there! Welcome to EC~
First off, it's awesome that you've gotten up the courage to join our EC family. I know it seems a bit overwhelming and confusing especially with your own questions regarding your orientation on your mind, but take heart. Everyone here is willing to help and feel free to post any questions you may have in the appropriate forums (e.g. Sexual and Romantic Orientations) or reach out to any EC member. In saying this, I advise you to start building your support network too. A support network is vital for a LGBTQIA member and are comprised of people/resources that can help you/provide you with information and/or support when needed. It can be both online and in real life so don't be afraid to maybe search through social media for LGBTQIA groups or making friends here.

I hope all goes well and always remember: Regardless of if you are completely sure about your identity/orientation or not; you're feelings are valid, you do not have to prove yourself to anyone and that you are awesome.

    Take care!,
    -MvH.

Hi! I hope you find what feels right. Its ok if you don't have a word for what you feel, just as long as you know how you feel and accept it.
Its hard, but remember that the only person you really have to earn acceptance from is you.
