do you look young

    my face looks like a 16 or 17 year old, I have the forever needs an ID in bars face. Yes I look so young but then I think it's in the family, my brother has a young face, a few of my uncles have a young face.

    What about you guys do you have a young or old face.

    Last weekend I had a security guard tell me I look 14. I've only had two people correctly guess my age in my entire life: once when I was 9 and again when I was 18. Other than that, people tend to think I'm at least five years younger. Wearing make-up and straightening my hair helps but I don't really care enough to bother.

    As a preteen and a young teen I went through puberty probably quicker than some and as the oldest in my family I felt like I looked older than I was. However, now that's all changed and lots of people remark on how young I look. I don't really look all that 22.

    I apparently look way older than I am. Most people don't believe I'm 15 and one time someone thought I was my mom's sister and she's 42. Another time someone thought I was my sister's mother and she's 13. My cousins are a different story though... they are twins and they are 23, but many people think that they are still in high school.

    Yes. I get it ALL the time. I get asked if I'm still in High School on a daily basis, carded all the time(alcohol and movies), etc.. etc..

    I am 30. Haha

    Yup I get told I look between 12-16 all the time. Runs in my dad's side of the family. Amusingly, so does early gray hair which is coming in already, once it shows up a bit more it'll be quite fun/confusing for people to guess my age.

    yep I do, although I can grow a beard, so that helps :slight_smile: without it, i look like a 15 year old :/

    Ha...a friend and I were talking about this the other day and I came up with this:
    The stages of aging marked by showing ID ....
    1. You hope they don't ask for ID.
    2. Proudly showing your ID when asked.
    3. Getting annoyed that you still have to show ID.
    4. Feeling flattered when asked to show ID and enjoying the visual response of the asking person when the person sees your birth date and mentally does the math. It almost feels like "guess my age" at a carnival. Enjoy this as long as you can, because then comes....
    5. No one asks you for ID anymore.
    I always looked young for my age, had a nice long stage 4---but it's catching up to me. I don't get asked for ID much anymore.

    people say they think i am 22. I let them think that, then they find out i have a 17 year old son and i have a giggle at their expression when they find out I'm am well into my 30s with a few more kids after him.

    I got carded until 22 (when 18 is the legal drinking age here). I usually get picked as four to five years younger than I am.

    I get asked for ID, but here you get ID'd if you look under 25 - no idea why when the legal drinking age is 18. My sister is 28 and gets ID'd.
