Do you think you're attractive?

Physically? Yes. I'm at least 8/10. And when folks hit on me thanks to my appearance, I usually feel this weird mix of anger and pride. I try to smile by thinking happy thoughts such as bashing their head off the pavement kerb. You can feel lonely when people are treating you well mostly because of how you look and they don't want to understand you.

Almost everyone will be attractive to some people, especially if you take care of your health. The media isn't exactly helping with the bombardment of messages about high beauty standards.

I used to think that people with low self-esteem, were merely seeking sympathy, and now I know it's my "sickness" that confuses me. Some people really do underestimate themselves.

Some people seem to have this revenge (?) fantasy about thinking very attractive people are likely to be less clever. Sometimes I play along (even although I hate being underestimated), until I'm ready to "stick the knife in." Interestingly, many people also seem to prefer that I appear to be a bit unsure, even if it's about something as trivial as my skill at a video game. If I don't teach them a lesson, then someone else will, and I'm usually more benevolent.

I'm not much taller than the OP of this thread. I know some people get leg lengthening surgery. I'm not particularly keen on the idea of paying someone to break my legs. Maybe some folks wanna break my legs for free after jumping to conclusions lol. Although, seriously, I don't fancy being unable to walk for several months, for the sake of being 5CM taller. I think it's better to find more ways to make my height work for me, rather than against me. Don't sell yourself short!

I'd say a solid 3 out of 10, possibly a 4 out of 10 on some days. Not too shabby if I do say so myself. I'm pretty happy with that. I feel like I take pride in my appearance and haven't too much to dislike.

But that's physically. I feel like my personality ranks higher. :lol:

Man, y'all are great at telling jokes. I especially like the parts where a lot of folks undermine themselves, because we all know how exceptional you all are.

 

Physically I think I'm very attractive, personality-wise it depends on the day.

I'd say I'm a 7. In my twenties I had a while where I was a solid 9.5--it's not so much that I got less attractive with age but that I stopped caring quite so much. Being hot can be a lot of work.:lol:

I would say to myself at least 7/8. I have really curly dark brown hair and everyone loves it for some reason and im like do you know how hard it is to take care of curly frizzy hair? And to be honest, I still wear glasses and I am planning on getting contacts soon because I truly believe that it's time to start changing my image so right now its a 7/8.

 

That's a little hard to answer. I can't really use my own perception of myself for obvious reasons. The average person would probably rate me a 0/10 by default, since I'm kinda part of a niche market right now. I'd say for the people who could potentially be attracted to me I'd maybe average out as a 6/10? Still, I might just be using video game scores where anything below 7.5/10 is not worth your time at all.

Oh well, I'm not that interested in finding someone and if I was there'd probably be someone out there crazy enough to see me as a perfect 10.

I think that I am attractive when I am feeling happy and energetic. I think that I am unattractive when I am feeling miserable and tired.
