I also have an S5. I've definitely dropped it more than 4 times at home. And I've accidentally smacked it into the wall when stretching. No cracks on it yet though. However, I have noticed the outer faux-chrome is wearing away, but that could just be from being in my pocket. No scratches yet!

Haha my IPhone 5 has a high-quality otterbox. I am extremely clumsy and have dropped it so many times I've lost count. My sister actually threw it at the wall and it was fine. I've also spilled 2 entire glasses of water on it as well and it's all good.

As of today I've had my iPhone 6 for 2 months now and I believe I've dropped it more than 4 times but its in a case so it's fine.

Well with my old phone I would drop it all the tjme until one day the screen cracked. So I decided to buy a water proof dust proof anti shatter screen phone and I haven't dropped it once in 6 months. The phone itself is rubbish, but I wanted something I didn't have to worry about dropping or scratching! My macbook however is my prized possession and when I dropped that I almost fainted.

Probably like 150ish. I've had this iPhone 6 for almost a year with the cheapest case available and there's not even a scratch on it. I had a iPhone 4s for 2.5 years before I got this one and dropped it like 500ish times and there were no problems either. I honestly have no clue how people break their phones

I've only ever dropped 1 phone once and that was the phone I had before my current one. (Galaxy Note 3).

It was only because a little kid accidentally threw a ball at my face in a department store while I was holding my phone. The phone landed neatly and didn't break thankfully.

I've gone through a few iPhones.
I've dropped one in London and picked it up quickly praying that the screen wasn't cracked.....but obviously it was.

I've also thrown two as they wound me up a bit too far.

I think I'm on my fifth one now, and it's gonna be my last.
I'll get a Galaxy next time.

I haven't dropped this phone yet, but it's still cracked.
It was originally my dad's phone (A Samsung Galaxy S5), and my sister borrowed it to make a quick call. After she was done, she dropped it screen-down on the pavement. You should have seen her face!

The repair costs were almost half of what the phone costs, so my dad gave it to me and got himself a new one.

I don't mind a cracked screen as long as it functions properly and I can read stuff :3

Without this thread I would've never known how often you folks dropped your smart phones.

Had I known how often some of you drop your phone , I wouldn't have ended my poll choices at four.

To date, Ive never dropped my Samsung S5 yet.

Mine's a really sturdy piece of plastic I tell you. When I was angry I once threw it in the wall really hard and it wasn't even bothered. I've dropped it in the snow and found it hours later, still working. I've dropped it on uneven asphalt while biking. I kid you not, it even got driven over by a van and when I picked it up there wasn't a single thing broken on it. The worst damage it has taken has been from greasy fingers and loose change in my pocket.

If I even feel like I'm about to drop my phone, I die a little inside.

I had a Samsung Galaxy S4. Dropped it dozens of times, on everything from grass to wood floors to solid concrete. May also have gotten tossed across the carpet more than once. Lasted two or three years (I can't quite remember when I got it) before the battery went bad.

Now I have the S6 Edge. Dropped it in the driveway the first day and have long last track since. Doesn't have a scratch on it. Case, of course, but no screen protector because they didn't have them in stock when I bought it.

My phone is so terribly cracked from how many times I've dropped it, it's ridiculous.

None. I don't own, nor have I ever owned, a smart phone.

In fact, I wouldn't even have a basic (text and calls only) cell phone if it wasn't given to me and paid for (welfare package). And even then, I tend to forget I have that one, because of how little I use or need it.
