Well, we're going to do it! Next month my fiance and I are getting married. I think later in life marriages may be a good thing. She's 40, I'm 38 and we both know what we want and don't want from life. Anyone else out here take the plunge later than "normal"?
Congratulations wolff. Really happy for both of you. I'm 39 and my husband is 40. We've been married for just over 3 months.
I took the plunge probably too early - marrying a man I'd been dating since age 19 at age 24. Don't regret it exactly but it would have been nice to have really known who I was rather than discovering it later. So in that sense I would say you are marrying at exactly the right age. And - congratulations!!!
I'm 44 and my partner is 49. We've been together for 17 years and are finally getting hitched this October.
Thanks y'all! She is truly the most wonderful human I've ever met in my life. I'd be lost without her. Congratulations to the newlyweds, the not so newlyweds and the soon to be newlyweds!
That's so touching how you talk about her! So congratulations to the both of you and keep enjoying each other!
I didn't even have my first child until I was 40 (and before I came out) Go for it, and don't look back
This is so sweet! Congrats! No I can't say I have but wow great news! I love weddings.. To know someone else out there is going to celebrate one is great! Gay weddings in particular are gorgeous! xx
