How long after realizing that you were gay until you came out? How did you do it?

    Know I was gay since sixth grade, but knew I liked boys before that. I came out to friends on eight grade. On tenth grade I was totally out. :3

    I knew completely by seventh grade, when I was 12, but I didn't come out to anyone until I was 16, and then I completely came out when I was 17 by posting a picture on Instagram.

    I realized I was gay at 11 accepted it at 13 and I started coming out at 14 about a year after I accepted it and I've only ever come out through text.

    I knew I was gay at around May last year and came out for the first time to my best friend in January this year, so I guess I kept it in for a while. (Considering I tell my best friend EVERYTHING.) I've only ever come out by actually going up and telling people. Tbh, I personally would think I was a coward if I did it by text.
