What was your biggest waste of money?

I'll go first. I spent £320 just yesterday on Private candidacy for A levels and I regret it already for job related reasons.

I blew £320 for no damn reason lmao. Can't get the money back :tears:

So what was your biggest waste of money?

Bought a leather jacket for £95, wore it three times, gave it to charity a few weeks ago. I liked it at first but then I didn't like it anymore, lol.

Bought a new one recently for £65, and wear it more frequently.

    Oh, my personal one!

That would have to be how much the train costs, and if it's late, and I have to take a Taxi to be on time, That really sucks up a ton of cash, fast.

My 3 years of College. I went into a job training program that was meant to teach me the inner workings of a work site and how to be a good employee. They did and things went well.. however, for some whatever reason with all of my work experience, no one wants to hire me. It turns out that employers would rather not hire someone with a lot of work experience because they'd have to pay them more.. so College has hurt me more than it's helped me.

My cars. I spent so much money on taxes, gas and repairs, only to sell them for too little money. And yet I don't regret it at all.

It would either be seeds (sempervivum seeds) or games, more likely games. I picked up so many cheaply that I'll likely never end up playing. One actually object would probably be Fable 3 specifically, I bought it for $60 and was unable to play it for three years. Which it means I could of got it for $20 instead.

I can't think of anything more expensive.

I spent £170~ on a Benchmade knife. Some people might say that's crazy, and I disagree. It's one of my fave blades. I really don't want to think about how much money I've spent in total on knives. I can't really remember any purchases I've regretted except some disappointing video games. I'm pretty good at only buying what I really want/need.

This is actually my own fault, but I used up more than $250 on my old Wizard101 account. (Yes, I played that. Haters gonna hate :U)

But anyways, all of it went down the drain when I was banned for making a joke about chicken rape so yeah

One time I was in a rush to the police station to get my passport renewed. I was going to be late for my appointment, so I kind of panicked and went to a very expensive place to get my photos taken (€20) at the last minute, and after that I didn't think I'd make it by train so I took a taxi (€27).
Needless to say, I missed the appointment anyway and IT WASN'T EVEN A BIG DEAL because I could just take a number and wait for my turn.

The passport cost €47 so I ended up doubling my expenses when I could've gotten passport photos for about €1 and cycled to the police station.

Overall I think I'm fairly good at not buying too much stuff. I mostly use my money to buy food, eat out and do stuff. Travel card, entrance fees and the like.

When I was in college I spent about 20k on oil paints and canvas. It wasn't really a total waste, but .. it's way more money than is sensible.

Buying GTA V for PC when I don't even have the right computer to play it on. I bought a PS4 and the game again shortly after just so I could play it.

Apple (iPhone) Lightning cords. I swear it doesn't matter whether they're Apple branded or third-party cords, they all seem to fail or start to get glitchy in a few weeks/months.

A few years ago, I went to this awful summer camp for two weeks. I would elaborate, but it would start a rant...

Also, a few weeks ago, I bought a whole spool of glow-in-the-dark string. It didn't glow in the dark.

Special editions of games. The ones with the stupid statues and figures. I never even have room to display them! Also that Skyrim dragon is SO spikey... it actually hurt me when I tried to get it out of the box. *sigh* And as for this...

I might get flak for this but I actually bought the Bag Boy Karlito by Fendi (it's a keychain) for $1,700.

I spent $160 on a pair of black suede boots that I only wore twice then gave away. Last year I bought two blazers for work (each over $100) and they are still hanging in my closet with the price tags on.

Dude, this is literally the funniest thing I've read all day :roflmao:
I get money so rarely I almost never regret purchases. I'm a wise spender, I guess.
One time I was with my friends at the mall, Bath and Body Works, and I guess I got so intoxicated by the million scents that I spent nearly $30 on different lotions. What can I say? They were on sale. Can't really say I regret it, though... I love lotion XD
