B. Rub a bar of soap directly on my body. The only problem with this is that it leaves hairs on the bar, and they are a bitch to get off of it.

When Drying Myself Off, I...

A. Use a new towel every day. I guess you could say I'm a little bit of a germophobe.

When Preparing To Brush, I...

C. Apply the toothpaste then brush immediately with dry bristles from hell. It usually isn't a problem for me, since I rinse the brush after each time I use it.

After Using the Bathroom, I....

A. Wipe sitting down. It seems the most logical, as to reduce contamination of the toilet seat. Toilet seats are the bar soap of seats, IMO, as they are hard for me to clean.

I do this only when I have class and I have to take a bath quick. But during weekends when I dont have classes, I use towel to clean myself.

C. Use the same towel for 4-5 days.
My towel doesnt stink that easy, and I wont let it get in that level. I change towel when I can smell something on it, and it happens (on average) every 4-5 days.

I wet the toothbrush with hot water. I only brush once a day because that's enough since it takes 48 hours for the bacteria colonies to fully regrow in your mouth. Once a day is enough if you brush well. I actually have an hourglass to help me out with timing.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YOU PEOPLE ARE DOING IT ALL WRONG WRONG WRON WROGN WRONG

1 - I rarely soap. Other people touch it and it burns if it gets in the wrong place.. I use body wash instead it gives me a nice scent

2 - Towel/Blow dry for 10-20 minutes until every cell my body is composed off is 100% dry.

3 - WET THE DAMN TOOTHBRUSH THOROUGHLY BEFORE AND AFTER THE APPLICATION OF TOOTHPASTE who the hell would brush dry

4 - As a beautiful, and flawless being, I don't shit

With the toothbrush question, I selected two because I wet the brush, but the toothpaste on, and then wet the toothpaste.

And I used to use a different towel every day, but now I use the same towel twice. I got into the habit of doing that because my mother would always go on about using too many towels.

It depends. Sometimes I just take my liquid body wash apply to my hands and lather it on my hands. But other days I apply it my scrubby thing, just depends if I want to cover a lot of body at once, and have a lot of soap to work with etc.

I try to only use the same towel for one week, but I'm very forgetful...

I'm a solely wet the brush then put on the toothpaste girl!

No offense but thats my business and not yours. All that is important is that I wipe that beep clean.

 

What I would like to know is how many EC members will admit to taking their mobile/cellphone into the bathroom (toilet). Is that considered bad etiquette? :rolle:

 

My phone is always with me, in my pocket, so it makes sense that it may come out while I'm in the bathroom. I don't see anything wrong with it. I do so often and may read the news or start a game of Bejeweled. Now does that mean that I post on EC while on the toilet?

Sometimes I use bath sponge.

I use bath robe. I let it dry and then use it again, what's the big deal? It's not like I share it with 2 or 3 other people. If that was the case (ew!), I'd use a new one everytime I bath.

Wet the toothbrush, apply toothpaste, then wet again.

Cuz that's more comfortable.

 

When I have a shower I use soap directly on my body, and then use body wash if I have any. I also use the same towel for 3 to 5 days unless it smells.

For brushing my teeth I wet the brush, and then apply toothpaste.

I always go to the washroom sitting down, and I wipe the seat before, and after. I just follow my instinct, standing feels wrong, unless there's no way around it.

 

Can we just hold on a minute here.

People wipe their arses standing up!? Why! Who does that!

I do it all the time when I'm in public and need to go the rest room. Although my phone does stay in my pocket the whole time. For that matter, I only use said phone to make/take very rare calls.

I do recall one incident, however. One place once had a really bad restroom design. When using a urinal, a reflection from inside the toilet stall was easily within my peripheral vision. One tries to ignore that. However, it wasn't easy ignoring it the day there was someone in the stall, cell phone in one hand, and erect penis in the other... I did what I needed to do, left, and hoped that no one would be soon needing the toilet stall for the more, ah, usual reason...

My habits:

Soap is bar soap. I soap my hands thoroughly, and use them to apply the soap. Soap is something "natural" to protect my lily white skin.

Bath towels are generally used once. This was the policy growing up, and one grandmother was adamant that towels were to be used one time only at her house.

I have heard, however, that 2-3 times is considered acceptable by various experts.

Currently, I'm doing a lot of my showering in a locker room, and I like the one-time towel policy to reduce chances of issues with athlete's foot.

Also important: I wash the towels as best as I can, using warm water.

Tooth brushes are rinsed first.

B. Use the same towel for 2-3 days. And I toss it in the dryer after I dry off so they're dry the next time I use it.
