Submissive. Although I am usually not exactly very submissive in normal life, it feels like it would make sense for me.

I'm dominant in general, but ideally I'd like an equally dominant and passive person to balance a relationship. In the bedroom I'd say I'm versatile, so depending on the mood I'm in.

It's a fascinating question, because I've discovered only in the last five years or so how this works.

I'm not the most sexually profligate person in the world, but I have hooked up with guys occasionally, and I am surprised at how many of them want to be treated like submissives. This is probably just a statistical process and it could turn out differently in another time.

The funny thing is that I'm a fairly gentle and neither submissive or dominant type myself. In fact, initially I resisted trying some of the dominant behaviors, because I was bullied in school and I had a strong feeling about how people would be hurt by some of the behaviors that are popular with submissives.

I was not only shocked but amazed, the first time I saw how aroused a guy became when I acted dominant. It probably was the ultimate cognitive dissonance for me. I actually enjoy being able to try out some of these things in a consensual way, that had been such a taboo concept for me, due to my history.

Still the answer to the question is, it depends.
