I am part Dutch and wouldn't mind having been born in the Netherlands either. It's a wonderful place and I cannot wait to go back.

But my choice would probably be either Japan or the UK.

You don't always notice anything when your country is as large as the U.S. is. Nonetheless, I love being from the San Francisco area. Everyone knows San Francisco; people come from all over the world to visit it and I'm just like "Yeah, that's my city, yo :sunglasses:"

In most places they don't, you're right. Portuguese and Spanish are similar though, so let's hope that that'll get me by

Ireland. So pretty  and fun accents.

Or maybe England, so that I have a better chance of meeting the queen. Let me love you, Elizabeth :frowning2:

Canada. Because it's basically like the US. Bonus: might actually get good at skiing and not fall on my ass every time I hit the slopes.

I would also prefer to have been born in the Netherlands, maybe even Sweden.

I was actually born in Cambodia which is in Southeast Asia (95% of people I meet have no idea where it is or that it ever even existed!) and I'm really glad I was but if I could change, I'd probably choose France, the U.S. or like India so I could have to possibility of getting that country's passport and I wouldn't need to worry about Visas (except with France cuz I'm already in the E.U!) and stuff (cuz I'm half Cambodian, I don't need to have been born there to have permanent citizenship :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:). I really want to live in the U.S., France and India one day.

I guess I would choose Malaysia (more specifically KL). The reason for this is that half my family live there (my mother was born there), I am really close to that side of the family and also feel like I belong in the Chinese-Malaysian culture just a little more than the white culture (I was born and raised in Australia).

But also I like the idea of being born in Northern Canada and all my baby photos being me as a red blob bundled up in winter jackets xD

The Netherlands, I've talked to some people who have lived there, and they said it was a great place. They're also very progressive with LBGT rights. Maybe Sweden, for the same reasons.

I've only ever been to one other country so I'm probably just biased here but definitely Costa Rica. It's small and chill and the people there are generally pretty nice. I also just love the culture and the way of life there. Pura vida!

Austria. My bloodline originates from there so I would love to know the country and culture.

For practical reasons, I say Finland, so that my citizenship would be easier to maintain than it is as an Australian-born dual citizen.

However, I've always liked Portugal and the Portuguese language, which I sadly don't speak. A few of my friends have lived in Portugal and I'm sure I'd love it as they did, though I suppose many native Portuguese haven't got such rose-tinted glasses.

Norway and The Netherlands would be my top choices.
