    Last time I checked most pedophiles are straight men, but whatever. Are republicans so terrified of gay people that they act this childish about it?

    Seems he issued a "clarification" after getting some flak for that intemperate remark.

    ...and this guy is the Republican Party's best hope...he gives weathervanes a bad name.

    Realistically, I think given where the Republicans are today, a successful candidate will need to be capable of giving a weather vane a run for its money. To survive primary season--and the party die-hard conservative voters--they can't possibly be too anti-tax, anti-abortion, or anti-gay. But when in the actual race, they will need to suddenly become a lot more moderate.

    Ultimately he is wrong as being gay is (arguably) something you are born with, so he is calling a child, or a new born baby a rapist. And a rapist is somebody who rapes children, am I correct? And most children under the age of 10 don't know what sex is, or how to do it. So not all gay people are pedophiles!

    Yet another politician showing off outstanding stupidity. It's like a bloody broken record, people accusing those they don't want to understand of being a disgusting criminal rather than deal with their own fears. Change the tune already!

    It would be hilarious if it wasn't so serious, it reminds me of 'that woman is attracted to women, therefore she must be attracted to every woman she meets'. Are you expecting me to just waltz up and kiss you on the lips?
