    Nice!!! There is almost something mysterious/exotic about it. I really have the most boring/blah writing... I have no idea where I got it from!![/QUOTE]

    Thank you, haha. I've had that handwriting since middle school.
    Yours kind of looks like mine when I try to write neatly.

    I'm going to interlope for a second to express my love for your penmanship. :slight_smile: I'm envious.

    "relatively messy" does not even begin to cover how bad my writing is XD;;;;

    I heard that poor penmanship was a sign of brilliance, because people's minds were going so quickly that their hands weren't able to keep up XD;;;

    I am a really good typist, though~ (like 70~80 wpm) ^.^

    If I'm not taking the time to actually think about my writing, I'd say that my penmanship is pretty messy. If I take the time to actually think about what I'm handwriting and write slower, then I can write pretty neat. But otherwise most of the time I'd say it's pretty messy.

    Sloppy and messy. These are random pages from my notebook. I scribbled the lyrics of "Dumb" by Nirvana on one. The other two are random German/Japanese notes.

    I can't stand my handwriting. I know how to write cursive, but it looks even worse than this. I need more practice.

    Depends on if I'm writing in print or cursive. My print looks like crap because I write in cursive, but my cursive also looks a bit sloppy. (I have what is called 'artist's handwriting'. My friend has it too and our writing looks almost exactly the same)

    I guess being born female and still abiding by that in society I can contribute here.

    My writing is awful, I know everyone thinks they wrote bad but mines just horrific.
    My mum always complained she can't read it. I have to write joined up, I simply do not understand writing on print. My English GCSE got a zero first time round, it came back with a note. 'Writing too messy and unreadable to be marked'
    I can never read it either to be honest.

    I've always blamed being left handed though, and being made to write joined up straight away without learning print writing first

    I've got such a sloppy scrawl, for a while I wasn't allowed to write out the grocery list. It's something of a mix of printing and cursive, with inconsistent spacing and lazy drags at the ends of some words.

    When needed, my handwriting can be very neat. But most of the time it's pretty bad. Sometimes even I can't read what I wrote. I also tend to have a weird mix of cursive and print, so my letters blend together.

    If it was a legal document I would write it neat. Moderate for writing a study note. Messy for writing notes to self.

    Well my notes are always super clean, with schematics drawings all made perfectly and bla bla.... but the writing itself is these small squigly letters. E looks like i ,u looks like o. I never share my notes with anyone because I feel a little embarrassed :grin:

    I was such a stubborn little kid that my kindergarten teacher couldn't show me how to hold a pencil! I'd always have to read my papers/tests out loud because teachers couldn't read it, and sometimes I couldn't either! I'm graduated now, and it hasn't really improved any at all.

    That being said, I somehow ended up being an artist... Who can't hold her own pencil right. :confused:
    It's a bit embarrassing, but I guess it works!
