LGBT News County clerk in Kentucky caught on tape denying marriage licens

Why not just have some people whose job is just to marry opposite sex couples, no religious freedom taken, and you will know who to avoid.

 

Why should people have to seek out hate free, bigotry free service at public government office? People incapable of performing a job should be fired.

That couple should have refused to leave until served and when arrested sue Sue SUE!!!! Sue individual clerk personsonally, the city office and police and punish all monetarily to the max.

 

In a few days if she continues this nonsense she should be arrested. Governor Beshear of Kentucky has ordered all County Clerks to follow the ruling of the Obergefell v Hodges decision, which tells them they must order. If she continues, the Governor should have her arrested and held in contempt of court.

 

This clerk is a vigilante and should be treated as such.

Anybody have access to oath he awore when he took office?

Your right to worship God ends when you interfere with others liberties.

 

Religious freedom is a ridiculous notion, they absolutely have a right to their beliefs but they do not have a right to pick and choose between when and where they get to enforce their beliefs at a job they are being paid to do.

I have a hard time believing that the clerk at some point or another hasn't issued a marriage licence to someone who had previously been divorced...or to someone who had participated in pre-marital sex. This religious freedom excuse is an excuse to discriminate likely rooted in religious hypocrisy.

Make them swear under oath how profoundly important their religious freedom is and then when it's proven that they've previously done exactly what my examples are all against their religion jail them for perjury.

 

I hate Kentucky.
