    That is so great!

I am in boy scouts right now, and it really really sucks. Once I come out and express as female, I really want to join Girl Scouts, and it is great to know that they are so accepting OF LGBT+ folk. Boy Scouts didn't allow gay scouts until about 2 years ago.

This puts me in a good mood, people actually doing things in a reasonable and kind way. The rest could learn a bit from them!

Wow, this is pretty cool! <3 I mean, it sucks that some people just have to ruin all the fun, but still. It shows that the Girl Scouts have integrity and moral standings and stuff, which is neat... ^^

    Very commendable of them.

But I think they should have kept the money, for two reasons:

One, they would be denying it to a toxic donor these funds. Sure, this donor probably has loads and loads of money, and it would only be a drop in the bucket, but it's still something.

Two, young ladies should be enjoying themselves. Allies are deserving of taking a break from the nonsense of the world.

Only thing left to do now is buy a lot of girl scout cookies. Everybody wins, LOL.

I think they probably had to refuse the money for public relations reasons.

However, at this point I'm quite tempted to send them funds, because I so appreciate them giving a sense of community and sisterhood to all the sweeties.
