I wonder how long you have to stay constipated in order to die. I'd Google it but then I'd get all paranoid every time I eat too much.

Dreams are messy and confusing. They leave you little time to figure out what they mean. In that regard they are tiny lives we live at night.

Yes, you. I've noticed you've been stuck on the same level for a while.

"Press Start" and begin your adventure. Whether it's a prince or a princess, someone needs saving, so put on your green tunic and red cap and get out there.

It won't be easy. There are always obstacles, but fight your way through the baddies! Defeating them can be as simple as jumping on their heads.

You can do it. You can get to 100% completion and unlock the hidden ending! I believe in you.

Just remember to save, and use your resources well. We can't all be Mario; we only have one life, and there's no glitch to get to x99.

 

Why does that seem super familiar?

 

Life is too short to waste your time on the past. If you made a mistake, fix it. If you hurt someone, make it up to them. If someone doesn't like you, forget them. If something makes you mad, move on. If something happened to you, don't dwell on it. Just live your life to the fullest. You could die tomorrow. You could die in 3 minutes. You don't know when you will die. So make the most of your life, NOW, while you can, and don't sweat the small stuff.


Probably too long, but it's something I wanted to share.

 

People kill themselves because they think they are not so pretty, yet we kill flowers because they are too much so.

In the end, perhaps we all spend our lifetime trying to capture beauty.

Teaching every pupil in the same way is a mistake. Every child has their own individual merits, just like a fish and a monkey. If you assess a fish on its ability to climb a tree it will end up feeling pretty stupid.

How do you teach a fish and a monkey in the same classroom?

 

Our lives are short and the past can not be dwelt on too long without letting it consume the present and future. But to ignore our history, both personal and more general, would be to remove our lives from context, leading us to feel lost, lonely and insignificant. When we reach the end of our lives, the only thing we can certainly know of is the past, so it is best not to spend life too quickly running forward when at its close there will be little else for us to contemplate but what came before.

2000 years ago, Rabbi Hillel asked three simple questions...they are still annoyingly pertinent:

 

We walk among small molecules of energy, consuming them daily to keep going. We live on a huge sphere with a heart made of pure energy. That is the world that we are a part of, connected to. We are gifted particles of life and we protect it by creating shells of granite and stone and by being ever watchful to approaching dangers. Look around you and imagine the endless molecules of oxygen, the waves of light and sound bombarding our senses, imagine walking among a fog of electrons, neutrons and Protons, our body breaking apart these tiny objects and using the resulting energy to take one more step forward in this wonderful bubble of life.

 

I think objectivity exists, but it's just too difficult to capture true objectivity in anything. Nearly all of our opinions exist because of a belief, education or culture.

Philosophically, life is just an experience of consciousness within an energetic, active brain controlling a body of organs, amongst the proximity of other brains controlling bodies of organs clumped together. Seriously, that's it.
