I'm going old school and listening to the Beach Boys.

I haven't found any covers of their songs in French, so I'm trying to translate them and possibly make some covers happen.

They're basically my go-to band/music genre for calming me down. Those and the Beatles, despite being rivals in the mid 60s.

For the past week I've been revisiting Symphony X's discography in anticipation of their new record.

Ooh, I really like mayday parade! I've been listening to mayday parade, Panic! At The Disco, the Maine, IAMX, Imagine dragons, Taking Back Sunday and State Champs.
And this song, light outside by wakeywakey it's pretty good and relaxing, have been listening to it on repeat
Most of it is alternative rock/pop/emo/pop-rock stuff

Currently a lot of First Aid Kit live performances, 60's female quartet rock'n'roll/doo-wop (don't know what exactly the genre is) basically: the marvelettes, chordettes, shirelles, supremes etc.
Some 90's punk rock and riot grrrl.
As always I'm also spending a lot of my music listening time on some good old Billie Holiday jazz and a lot of simple acoustic folk music.

    Everything really.

Hollywood Undead is my favourite artist overall though.

    - Rock (ie. Breaking Benjamin, Alter Bridge, Disturbed, etc..)
    - Instrumental (ie. Audiomachine, Sub Pub Music, Ivan Torrent, etc..)
    - K-Pop (ie. Girls Generation, SHINee, TVXQ, etc...)

I also listen to Rap, some Pop, and some Country. Depends on the song/my mood.

Shoegaze, anyone? Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine, etc. Alison is so good it's unreal:

Then some indie rock, occasionally electronic. Top bands: Modest Mouse, Grizzly Bear, Beach House, LCD Soundsystem, of Montreal, Foals, Alvvays
Older music like Tears For Fears, Talking Heads, the Smiths, the Kinks, and the Beatles definitely.

And La Dispute is great for helping with depression.
