    No. I actually have trouble sleeping when other people are awake. I don't feel like I can properly unwind knowing other people are still awake and around the house. Our walls are paper thin which doesn't help.

    I'm exactly the same. Since it's summer, I've been staying up later than anyone else in my family and I get freaked out by every little noise or movement. I sometimes fall asleep to music so I don't feel alone XD

    I love it. I wake up really early but the rest of my family wake up quite late, so on weekends I get a couple of hours to myself which I really enjoy. I usually end up getting homework done, making weird smoothies, that sort of thing. I can be a lot more productive when I'm the only one awake in the morning.

    That's how it is for me 9 times out of 10, and I prefer it! I get a lot done on my own. Otherwise sometimes I lose track of time talking and most times it isn't even about a subject I'm interested in.

    I freaked out a bit for a short time between 3 - 4 am for several days after a stranger tried to get into my home. But that's the only negative night-time experience I can recall.

    It's a tad discouraging whenever I make these poll threads and the majority of people feel the opposite way I do on things. lol :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:.... Because this happens a lot of the time.

    On the contrary, I deeply enjoy being the only person awake or the only person in a usually fully-occupied house/apartment/dorm/etc. Time to myself is something I greatly value.

    Think I am the opposite, I prefer me being the only one awake, I feel it ease and can sleep better. If other people or up, I cannot sleep.

    Eh, it depends. I don't 'fear' being the last person awake but I usually don't like it because it means I'll be alone and bored. Sometimes it's nice if I can get things done though without the distraction of other people (and it's mostly my fault because I allow myself to be easily distracted).

    It's just my dh & me & we go to bed at the same time. When I step outside at night (we live in studios), sometimes no one else is around & sometimes there's someone walking their dog, etc. Occasionally, there are people talking. I prefer it when it's as quiet as possible. I grew up in a small rural town, just outside the city limits. It was nice to be able to just hear the sounds of nature. Birds, frogs, crickets & the like.

    I actually love being the only one awake. It really allows me to soak up some me time. Bonus points if no one's in the house at all.

    The silence of the night has always made me feel more secure than housemates bustling around ever has .

    Sorry!~ The less people around me the better I usually feel. One thing I don't like about being the only one awake is that I have limited feeding options which is annoying since I am a nocturnal kuketsuki afterall...
