    Over the last few days I've been listening to The Spice Girls. Such memories! Anyone else and who was your favourite?

    Mine was Baby/Emma. Looking back she might have been one of my early crushes:slight_smile:

    while they were pretty much everywhere and on the radio constantly, my favorite was Ginger, as I'm very partial to red heads. after they went their separate ways, I started listening to their solo work and really liked a lot of it. Baby Spice, Emma Bunton and Sporty, Mel C, did some really good solo stuff that I still listen to from time to time.

    I still listen to them every now and then, as for favorites I'd say it was a tie between Emma and Mel C and they're still my favorites to this day, I loved their version of I Know Him So Well, it was adorable (*hug*)

    When I was little I owned every single one of their CD's and their movie...I suppose it should have been a sign :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: .

    My favorite was always Sporty Spice.

    Lol I was just talking to Jakob about this like 2 days ago!

    The first CD my family owned was Spice Girls 'Spice World'. My favourite was Mel C. I saw the movie like 5 times. I think I still know all the moves to Stop and 2 Become 1...

    I love this group! Fav song is wannabe and stop. It's impossible to not dance and sing along if I hear any of their songs playing :slight_smile:

    I remember their catchy songs from my teenage years but I remember watching the video of Say You'll be There and looking right past the girls and drooling over the Dodge Charger Daytona in the video....Oh yeah that should have been a clue....

    Sporty Spice! Srsly, look at the way she moves when she's dancing in their videos. So hot. IMO she's also the best singer in the group.

    Ooh~ Posh Spice! She was the teen Samantha XD;;;; (But, I'm much more of a Baby Spice, haha)

    I remember an interview where they were talking about why they weren't named after real spices, and they were like "Umm~ we all wanted to be Cinnamon Spice!" XD;;;;;

    chocolate dream, sharing the Baby love:slight_smile: I think she was my favourite because she wore cute pigtails and dresses, and had such a bubbly personality! I have a few heartbreaking stories regarding Emma.

    In grade 3 my friend and I entered a lip synching/dance contest at school. The three winning groups got to perform at the Valentine's dance. We picked "Stop." My friend loved Scary Spice and I naturally wanted to be Baby. But my friend's mom (who was helping us with the choreography) said that because A (my friend) was going to be Mel B, she said that I should be Sporty (be the two Melanies). At 8 years old I couldn't argue but was very upset. We were one of the winners but it was bittersweet for me. I still remember some of our dance moves though!

    Then a few months later, A had a Spice Girls themed birthday party. All of us got to go to a salon and have our hair done. Of course A got to be Scary Spice again. When I said I wanted to be Baby, A's mom told me no because it was a boring hairstyle and I wasn't even blonde. So she decided I was going to look like Geri. Again due to my young age I just shut up and sat in the chair. The hairstyle looked horrible on me!

    When my mom picked me up after the party she was also horrified because of the hairstyle. I immediately started crying, telling her that they wouldn't let me be Emma:frowning2:

    I love The Spice Girls! I know all their songs by heart and probably still know all the lines of the movie... Geri has always been my favourite! Their music is so fun and easy to listen to :slight_smile: Hoping for another reunion... Doesn't matter what's happening in my life if it happens, I'm there!

    Jesus Christ, this triggered some past memories...

    It's hard to believe that it's been more than a decade since their first album...

    My favorite song, if I have to pick one, would be:

    Spice Girls - "Never Give Up On The Good Times"

    My favorite member was between Posh and Baby.

    As for Spice World, it hasn't aged well... then again, it was never that great of a movie. But, you know, it's a product of the times. For that, I let it slide.
