Tooji was a Eurovision contestant for Norway in 2012. He recently came out of the closet as a gay man. He made a very interesting music video, to say the least!

What do you think, is this appropriate or not?

as a general rule, if you have to ask if something is appropriate, it usually is not.

of course appropriate is also dependent on the audiance that it is being presented to.

for example, if I go to the Westboro want to be a Baptist Church and proclaim, God hates Fags, that would be appropriate for the setting and everyone there would love me.
If I stand in the center of the gay pride with a microphone and proclaim that God hates Fags, That just might not be appropriate and I doubt I would make it back out alive.

Well tacky and tasteless was my first opinion.

Clearly the hope is the juxtaposition of sex and religion will have a shock value, and will help sell what is really not a very good song.

Frankly, dear, Madonna did that decades ago, and with much more style.

I think I could have forgiven it more if the song was better.

Other than that, I don't really feel anything toward it. Except awkwardness, knowing his mother was there too.

    *Shrugs*

    I guess, maybe.

I've seen more controversial videos. But I guess gay men having public sex in a church is reasonably edgy, if not a bit "try-hard". Probably at the same level as "Anaconda" in terms of appropriateness.

    Its a crap song though.

On a side note he would look a lot better with short hair, he has a bit of an Ollie Locke thing going on. But that is just my opinion!

I didn't not like it. I'm thinking it's not APROPRIATE though.

Oops, sorry. That's what I get for using a word I've barely used before. I usually have no problem writing English, but yeah.. I do make a few mistakes here and there. It's not my first language, ok.. give me a break

'Appropriate' is the right spelling. 'Apropriate' is not.

Sorry! I put it in capitals to differentiate between appropriate and whether I liked it or not. I can usually spell, but auto-correct doesn't work in all capitals...

Basically, I wasn't trying to be condescending! Sorry!

    Yeah, appropriate, nothing more.
