Is it bad that I find it so much easier now that she's using female pronouns? It just felt weird when she was using male pronouns, like saying, "he's a woman" or whatever. Anybody else know what I'm saying? I'm sorry.

Well this is great for her, I'm happy that she has fully transitioned and first of all, I think when she called herself "He is a woman." It didn't fit her because it was kind of weird in a way. It sounds like a song lyric.

 

It's hard for me to process, as Bruce, he was such a handsome man in his younger days. Without a doubt, Caitlyn is a gorgeous woman. How fortunate to have your cake and eat it too.

I have nothing against Jenner really and I wish her well but I just can't look at this situation without seeing it as more TMZ tabloid sideshow attraction nonsense for people to laugh about... And to me that is a tragedy... I want to stress though, I'm not talking about Caitlyn herself, just the attention in the media she's getting... Cause honestly, before this I had no idea who Jenner was... And it seems like she's become famous just for being transgender, and I really hope she can move passed that point...

 

That's really on the media in general. Bruce was not only an extremely talented athlete, but a successful motivational speaker. There was more to Bruce than being the step-dad to sex tape McGee.

Is it a little tabloid frenzied? Definitely. But, there's a point. There would have been no way for Bruce to just let it go. I think the trans community would have literally crapped although. Being gay, I would have - he has a prime opportunity to open up the talk about being trans.

My biggest issue is with people. I have seen so many nasty comments that I am almost ready to delete all my accounts. It's fucking everywhere! My problem is the stupid memes or pictures people post that are anti-Caitlyn. My blood pressure is still up from a picture about who was runner up for the ESPY award and how Caitlyn really isn't courageous.

I Want Caitlyn to help the trans/LGBTQ community, but you know what? If you're 65 and have lived with this secret for so long...you can take as much time for yourself as you need!

 

I agree with this post. It's hard for me to process. That's all. Everyone is entitled to be happy. Everyone is different from each other.

 

All I can say to that is you go girl!! =D

 

Does anyone know what her kids will call her?
They have a "Mom" already, will they call her "Caitlyn"?

 

My mum said that she was too old to transition... I really feel like I can't come out to this person at all... It's still a little hard for me to use female pronouns for Caitlyn, I'm sure I'll get the hang of it though.
