Hey everyone! My names Toby and I'm a Transmale workaholic based in the Toronto area. I joined this site because I'm in need of some social interactions. I work full time as a comic store manager and then I go home to another full time position as a comic illustrator so it doesn't afford me much time to go out and actually see people. It would be nice to be able to have a place to go, with like minded people, where I can chat and just talk about day to day things. I try not to let the stresses of being out of the closet get to me but it can be hard when you feel like you're going it alone at times. I could use some friends that understand what I am going through and are able to relate to me. I just don't want to feel alone in this, ya know? Please feel free to chat me up! I love talking to new people I did join once, a while ago when I was still in the closet, but I was unable to remember what the account was so I just decided to make a new one

Hi Toby! Nice to meet you. I know the feeling of having no real life outside of work as I work ten hour shifts Mon-Fri. I love meeting other creative people too! I'm a writer. And I love comics. I'm a comic book nerd. I love XMEN and Batman especially.
I consider myself to be an "experimental" writer. I write sci-fi, fantasy, romantica, historical fiction, etc. Just whatever I have the muse for, I write. I'm also an avid RPer on play-by-post RPGs which helps me write a bit more.
Hiya!~ It's really cool that you're an illustrator and stuff! That's pretty much my dream job. Right now I'm stuck as a unemployed cartoonist, but hey, similar fields! woo! And ya do comics! That's like double awesome! Ya seem like a pretty cool dude in my book. ^~^
I haven't really Rp'd much in the past but it's something I have wanted to get into a few times. Everytime I tried though the sites/forums would die XD just bad luck I guess Sweet, another artist! Illustrating has to be the best/hardest job in the world, it's very rewarding though and it's worth the stress and all nighters
Ahh, that happens to me too lol!! But yeah, comics. What type do you do? I love superhero comics. I've also gotten into some anime (but I'm not completely into it like Otakus are.) My real passion is mainly Marvel. And some DC.
Yeah, I've never been crazy into Anime. Just like the other ones I grew up with as a kid, otherwise I am super picky. As for my comics, I am working on a LGBT comic (it's being marketed as a Bara/yaoi even though it's in western style) for some guys in the US. My own project is a Steampunk/fantasy/sci-fi comic weee haha I do read a lot of the indie titles in comics at the moment, things like Saga, The woods, Kaptara, Chrononauts and Chew. I get a lot of inspiration from them. I still really like Marvel and DC though. I read DC mostly for the Batman titles, but overall I read more Marvel titles. I'm currently reading spider-gwen, silk, Ms. Marvel, occasional deadpool, anything young avengers, wolverines (on and off again), and Loki. I could go on but let's pretend for a moment I am somewhat cool haha. You said you liked X-men and batman right? Any favourite characters?

Sorry, late reply here! Yes, I'm a digital artist, I draw on a Wacom tablet. Not the best, but I'm hoping to be some sort of designer when I'm older. I'm always in awe of other artists, whether it be music or drawing, they all seem to be so inspiring. Aced graphic design at school and took a college course in Art and Design level two. So yes, drawing is really all I can do! n_n

That's awesome! It's so great to hear about someone so passionate about creating. It's really cool that you design, do you mean like clothing? Or Character or graphic? Ooooh you do comic stuff as well? Mind if I ask? Also, I completey agree with what you said. Art can be such a great escape. I suffered for years from anxiety and depression but my work has turned out to be the best medicine for me in the end. YAY comic lover! I draw mostly western style comics. I did do a series of LGBT fairytale illustrations for a magazine about a year ago, I love doing projects that help promote the community. Combining aspects of my life with my work can be very rewarding What kind of writing do you like btw? Also, anyone feel free to add me or comment on my profile and such. I never say no to a chat or a new friend, that's why I'm here afterall XD
