Forgiveness is one thing and as I christian I always think forgiveness is the right thing but I want to get at the root of this. The hypocrisy smells very bad here meaning Josh Duggar has made false claims about us homosexuals being perverts and now because now he himself has actually done a act like this he must be apologetic for making such accusations. Those claims are always horrible and should never be tolerated. He also should issue a full detailed statement on this and let the truth takes its course and let CPS check his house and the entire family. If the victims are really his sisters the Duggars should start thinking hard about how they view women in their family because right now everything looks pretty damn hypocritical. Because from what I seen Josh has received better treatment from his parents than his sisters. "Cannot keep your eyes those girls or else they will get too loose" Yeah easy for you to say after your son committed such acts and here your daughters are trying to live up to your example.

Yeah it's pretty funny to see him scramble when one of his "heroes" turns out to be a fraud. Huckabee will just go on denying reality like he always has.

Believe me 20 years or thirty down the road one of those daughters or a few of them are gonna come out with very personal claims of abuse and brainwashing and self hatred. Those girls are beautiful beings I will admit and if they only knew what they could accomplish without having to please their father, brothers, or lovers than it would open their eyes. They don't have to leave their faith to do that either.

I don't think you can slam the "bloodthirsty media" for someone ADMITTING to "forcibly fondling" several teenage girls. I would really like to see a right wing nut job like Huckabee or Ted Cruz get the nomination because that'd mean an easy win for Hillary Clinton, but I really think it's going to be a weasel like Jeb Bush or Scott Walker that gets the nomination.

My mom and sister love this show so much they are carelessly denying any facts I present to them about this show and Josh accusing us gays of all being perverts. My mom and sister pretty much say so what who cares. It kind of hurts.

Mike Huckabee is a man who clearly doesn't care about the sexual violence that happens to a single person on the planet, and the voters should bear that in mind. So should business owners, in deciding whether to serve him.

One of the girls Josh Duggar molested was four. FOUR. The police reports are available online and it's not hard to figure out who is who.

But the Duggars would probably be horrified that I work at a school. With children. -.-

If the Duggar's had handled this properly and not covered up what Josh did, I would be inclined to say let the past lie. But the fact is that they did cover up (and the one authority they did go to is now serving time for child pornography) and they lied about Josh getting treatment. The fact is that the Duggar family and their church covered up sexual assault because (if I'm familiar with the movement), coming forward would hurt the church. I say let the media have their field day. I just hope that they keep this storm to the parents and Josh, and not go after the girls (who were the victims in this family).

I'm a Christian, a protestant, who grew up around the Bill Gothard movement. Covering up things like this and blaming the victim are what I really hate about the church. People wonder why I hate my body so much.

I don't want to point the "hypocrite" finger because as a Christian I have been called that and it isn't fun. But now Josh Duggar is exposed as having the perverted past that he accuses the LGBT movement of having.

Getting at the root of this it is the fault of Josh's parents. Isolation and repression probably caused Josh to act out in sexuality inappropriate ways that got him in trouble. Not that he is justified with what he done but the fact is when parents isolate their children from society and from the internet and books they cause frustration. It is very possible while porn and sexual fantasies are not always the best thing to look at in some aspects i would say there is a slight chance if Josh saw pornography or any other sexual material or had a trusted family member to talk to about his sexual urges without being judged like he probably would have he might have sadly not took his sexual urges out on his sisters. You tell a horny teenage boy just to prayer it away and stay out of trouble and isolate him that only increases his frustration and Josh is sadly a victim himself in some respects. I feel bad for his family and as much as I am as christian they been brainwashed to feel guilty about sexual thoughts and desires. I pray for this family I really do and maybe someday one of them will come forward with stories of mental or physical abuse wouldn't surprise me. I am in no way justifying his behavior but I just think his environment played a huge factor in this.
