Wow, it's been a long time since I've been on this site...

Training for tomorrow was cancelled! Yay!

 

I'm throughly convinced my mom is the best person on this planet. I spent an hour and a half on the phone venting to her about how my dad is mad that I got my hair cut so short, and we talking about me being trans to politics and just about everything. She told me she honestly thinks I am trans and that it isn't a phase, and honestly just so supportive...
She didn't know why the word "tranny" was bad, and I explained to the best of my ability why it was and godammit, she listened! She may not fully understand (she's also confused about all the new labels like gender fluid and stuff) but the fact that she's willing to learn and listen is just so amazing to me. My mom always asks me questions when she doesn't understand something trans related, and I encourage it. I'm so happy she wants to better understand her son.

I have to do four hours worth of homework from the days I'll be missing school plus everything I get daily in the space of two days. Feeling so stressed out...

 

Abrosexual... Is that even a thing? ...It's apparently when your sexuality shifts from day to day. So like being "fluid" or "open minded" except it suddenly needs a new label. I don't mean to sound rude but has anyone heard of this before? Because apparently there's a "giant" (or so someone said on Facebook) community of "abrosexuals"...

We have too many damn labels...

 

ugh, i just need to get good grades for history and english this quarter then i can take the class i want to take. Yay!

Maybe I should just give up and accept the fact that it's the holidays and I'm bound to gain 10 pounds by the end of the year.

 

Seriously? You try and out me again in front of my kid and I will knock you flat! It was not funny, and the only reason I didn't knock you down was because my son would have realised there was more to the convo than he thought. It was sheer luck it was in front of the kid who wouldn't understand what you meant. One of the others and you'd be out of the house. Permanently!

 

So disgusted to see people I went to school with trying to spread a petition to get our governor to block refugees from coming here, since we're one of the few states who has openly said we're accepting refugees (which I hope doesn't change because our governor has been amazing).

 

1. I really need to study for these two exams I have tomorrow...
2. I really need to start dating...

 

So my friend proceeded to tell her family members and family friends that I'm gay (I'm OK with it).

One of her family friends (straight and metrosexual) comes to me the next day and says, "Dude. You want to go clothes shopping with me? We should totally go together."

Poor guy. He's straight but fits all the gay stereotypes out there, apart from his masculine demeanor. He just needs a male shopping buddy.

 

I really don't see how my school can get two students who only study in three faculties (two each) to do the farewell speech and expect us to include references to all seven faculties and only tell us the day before the speech that we need to "be more inclusive".

They might have thought of, you know, giving us a guideline of what's necessary instead of making us thank teachers we don't know and make references to things we've never done.
