What are you thinking?

Still no sign of my cat anywhere, and it's been about nine days now. It's raining out, and I an only hope he's okay since he's an indoor cat.

Also, dysphoria decided to come knocking on my door again. I'm going to explode if I don't see any new or dramatic changes by the time my one year comes up, which is generous since I'd say my birthday (less than two weeks away) but then I'd be faced with disappointment fucking quick.

Looking and sounding like a 13 year old sucks so much, and I swear I looked more masculine pre-T than I do now.

I feel the same . I asked to go to the bathroom today and my voice sounded so high pitched that I cringed.

Also, I hope your cat comes back. (*hug*)

 

Checked EC this morning and if not for the big 'ol notice at the top of the page it did indeed look as though some time-travel shenanigans had been going on and I was now living 4 days in the past. Unfortunately I was not so I still had to go to the bloody dentist.

On that note, it seems I'm going to need a crown over my troublesome front tooth. Which would be fine except for the small matter of a dental phobia which returned with a vengeance today and had me gripping at the sides of the chair when she so much as tapped my teeth with any instrument.

 

I hear ya... Yeah, I used to pass way better years ago. Then again, I was 18/19 so the whole "puberty's just late, haha guys" excuse worked a lot better, I was slightly thinner, and I didn't talk much. As it so happens, massively dysphoric myself.

Also, sorry about your cat. One of mine got in a pretty nasty fight a while back so he's got a huge sore on his side. Took him to the vet and he seems to be okay though.

 

I should just start calling him Houdini because every time someone near us called to say they saw him, he would just disappear.

 

There were several threads I posted on during Friday including this one, and all my posts are gone. I have been hanging in there.

On Tuesday, I was helping out in 2 different races/elections. Had a job interview on Wednesday.

 

I woke up this morning with a sore throat and aching muscles.

I swear to god I will be furious with my body if it fails on me in the last five days of school.

 

So excited my mom and sister just went to get our new puppy!!!

 

The temperature really dropped today. Also it's been really windy!

Today was great I'm just really anxious right now. It's making my stomach turn upside down and I'm getting a headache.

 

So a guy I went to high school with was arrested today for molesting a 13-year-old boy. It's always the ones you wouldn't expect.

 

Today I filled out the application for re-admission to my old university. Looking forward to getting a response. ^_^

 

Welp, better to just accept it. Dragonforce is the band that's finally gonna give me tinnitus. What an honor.

 

So... I had the interview yesterday.

It went well, actually. So well, that they called me back today and asked if I wanted to start working for them.

...too bad I don't want the job. LOL.

It's not that the facility isn't great. It's actually the best health clinic I have ever seen, and I've been to quite a lot of facilities.

The only issue is the drive and parking. Oh my gosh, it took me 1 and a half hours to get to the darned place, and it wasn't even rush hour! There wasn't any parking either - I had to rob visitor parking. Thankfully I was able to check in and they accepted me. Otherwise, I would have had to park in the street (15 minutes of walking in the rain), or park somewhere and ride the bus. That's just no bueno.

So I had to turn them down. I felt bad because I made a great connection with the hiring manager, but with the pay they're willing to give me, combined with part-time hours and having to spend money on gas and parking, it's just not worth the hassle.

Oh well - moving on to bigger and better things.

 

rain is really annoying. especially when there is no shelter and you cant get in the car
