Feeling pretty proud of myself honestly. I went running today when I had like no time to do it, and finished all of my miles in record time and then still made it to work on time. And then at work I did really well handling some rather urgent business that came up at the last minute. And tomorrow I have the easiest queue to watch. So all in all, things are improving, marginally. I'm also planning a trip to my favorite aquarium on the first and I am really excited for it. ^__^

My aunt is visiting and by God is she too tipsy for me to stand. The following things have happened:

Being entrapped in an uncomfortably long hug while she told me how proud she is of me.

Her saying "I love you", resulting in a forced response of "I love you too". That's acceptable, but she then tried playing at "I bet I love you more" and I just had to awkwardly smile instead of admitting that was almost certainly a true statement.

Also, insistently trying to coax me out of my study to eat when I've arrived home late and haven't studied yet is certainly not welcome, especially when she decided to extend her stay beyond what had originally been planned.

Ok, performances start this week, even though I'm not worried or anything, it's gonna be exhausting.

You didn't try "I love me too?" Usually works for me.

I miss home. I miss my friends, and the only place where I belonged. That's what I'm thinking to myself.

Shit, thinking about this makes my hair feel gray.

Intriguing, I was half dreaming, half listening to the news on tv. The dream was built around the conversation I was listening to. Weird.

    That's so neat mannnn

I just had an illuminating discussion and somehow feel hope. Though part of me liked it more when I was depressed cause it was easier. But yeah, thats what ive been missing, maybe something good can work

I've been volunteered for a job.

There was no intention to agree to it... until I heard the story behind it:

Basically, somebody that knows somebody I know is filling in for his dad's flooring company, while the dad is down in Georgia doing another job. This somebody was asking around for any volunteers.

So far, nothing spectacular. But it's what I was told next that amused me greatly.

Apparently, when the fellow asked for volunteers, he specifically mentioned any volunteers needing to be "tough and reliable", and my name was dropped as first choice.

Needless to say, my ego is on fire and I am intrigued as to what the hell needs to be done, that requires "tough and reliable".

I'll find out tomorrow at 4 fuckin' AM.

    Come at me, world.

Hopefully the Colts' swinging gate disaster last night will make Blake O'Neill and the Michigan punt team feel better...

When I am with my family, I am annoyed. When I am with my friends, I am out of place. When I am at school, I am stressed. But when I am with myself, I am bored as hell. What's wrong with me? Where will I get positivity?

Got my first pride bracelet almost two weeks ago, and been wearing it every day. So far, not a single comment good or bad. Kinda disappointed as I've prepared all sorts of snappy responses. Latest one being
Them: People may think you're gay with that on.
Me: Oh, thank god......I was starting to worry that it was broken.

I am currently trying to find a pride wristband but I can't seem to find a decent one anywhere, even online. If I find one I will prepare myself for people not to comment on it. :icon_wink

Ugh... I got there and they were like, "Oh, why did your coworker make you come? You don't need to be here..."

Then we had a 30 minute meeting/ lunch (yay... cafeteria rice...) and then I had to literally sit for an hour and half waiting for work to actually start... sigh. At least I don't have to see that stupid woman for another week~~~ woo!!!

I still haven't gotten over last week, tbh...

Student: What do people eat in Africa?
    Her: Idk... monkey soup?
Student: REALLY??? DO THEY EAT MONKEY SOUP??
Her: Idk, probably... yeah... monkey soup!

    so... much... anger... >.>
