What are you thinking?

For the first time in quite a while, I feel uncomfortable with my friends at school.

I think I'm going to avoid socialising with them for a few weeks. I don't know why, but all but a few of my friends are behaving in a toxic way and I'm not going to put up with it. It's just really saddening; healthy banter turned into an endless stream of genuine insults thinly veiled by laughter. Most of us have a lighter workload for this final session of school, so it's not even stress.

Maybe it's just that, as school ends, façades are falling in the expectation that friendships will peter out when we all disperse next year. I'm just disappointed in myself that I didn't address it or get out sooner; the snobbishness and judgement make for an unbelievably hostile environment and I don't know how others are tolerating it.

I don't want to feel more stressed with friends than I do during class. I think I've failed myself in not recognising the problem and going along with it.

 

I hated my first day of school. Everything is as shitty as when I left. I just hope I don't have such a hard time the rest of the year, I can't take 9 more months feeling like this :dead:

 

Wow, I posted this early this morning but now look what I am doing... downloading another banned gore film. In my defense, the trailer of the film is really good!

 

Well I transferred to day shift!! Yay me

 

Just another Monday morning where I felt like I was running late, only to get here and find the professor hasn't even shown up yet, and class is supposed to start in ten minutes.

 

My mom locked her keys in the car. Now I have to run 3 miles to the drug store to give her my keys.

Is this real life?

Never mind it worked now

 

Some of the people I mingle with from time to time are debating what kind of drunk I'd be. They're also offering to pay for me to get drunk, by buying me whatever I want.

It's amusing to me how folks react when you tell them you've never been drunk, and they drink.

Other than that, I'm about to go do some yard work for some folks, then crank out this paper for somebody, and be awesome doing it all. 'Tis how I roll!

That'd all be lovely, but it was a pretty tame situation. Today is not a super productive day, only a productive one. Though, I am going to kind of miss mowing yards, because it's easy money... but... raking leaves or shoveling snow is also a financial opportunity. Oh well, different act, same profit.

Taking a mini-break from writing this paper. The topic is your relationship with Christ, and it's for entry into a Christian college. I asked the individual, well, why can't you do it? And their response?

"Jesus and I have a boring relationship. You could make that sound better."

Life, you amuse me... sometimes.
