Just sent my information to a therapist. Let's see how this goes, everything is all becoming too much to handle.

I officially live in a town where cars have "My other toy has boobs" on the back of them.

Hmm... That's how I have my hair when I'm stuck in guy mode (like right now, at work)

It's like this one client always thinks of me at the worst possible times. Stacked deadlines from other clients and he wants 10 research heavy articles in about five business days. If I didn't have other clients, this probably wouldn't be an issue. If this keeps up, I'm probably going to drop him as a client. Which is kind of a shame because I've done work for the guy for almost a year but I'd rather focus on better paying and less pushy clients instead of run around like a chicken with my head cut off because this guy has to give me giant assignments last minute. And it's not like any of them are exactly timely. They could literally be published at any time of the year.

Still, I am a professional. I'm just hoping he's willing to give me a deadline extension. If you want good work, you give the freelancer time. If you don't have time, you pay him better.

I mean, he's not a bad guy. It's just, he's one of those clients who doesn't really understand that freelancers usually have other clients too. I can go weeks, months without hearing from the guy but out of the blue I'll just get an email that says "here are my articles. Have these in by X". Not even a "hey, are you available?" "hey, I've got some articles. Do you have the time to fit these in"?

I need the money but man, I just wish he was a better client.

Ketchup is literally the only thing that can make eating the same thing - not reheated - twice in a day, bareable.

Also, that sound of getting crits in Pokémon. Music to my ears ~

Oh how wonderful... I scheduled a doctor's appointment with the Student Health Center, and after looking up some probable causes for why my foot is hurting, it could possibly be a torn or broken ligament or a stress fracture. >_> Just what I need when college requires that I walk 10+ miles 3 out of 5 days per week. I'm hoping that it's something less serious, but it hurts so much I can actually believe it's something more serious as well.

Well that... sucks. I will say that muscular problems can hurt more than you'd ever think - hopefully it isn't something that's going to take ages to heal. :frowning2: Whatever's caused it, I hope you make a full recovery soon!

At my old University (and it's so weird saying that) if you provided them with an official letterhead of the diagnosis, they'll accommodate you however necessary. If that meant being driven to class, they hired work study students to drive golf carts for that very purpose. There are resources for this sort of predicament.

Funny everyone's talking about uni, I was just thinking how weird it is going to be to live in uni halls while I do my masters without a dog being there. Seriously, I actually can't imagine what life without a pet would be like!

If you want a pet, lot of universities might let you get a fish or something along that line. Depending on what you get, there's actually a lot of fairly social species out there, like bettas.

Speaking of fish, think I'm gonna get one in the next few months... Got the space for it. Most likely going to be a betta because they're pretty beginner friendly and don't need other fish to be happy.

Name/gender change going to happen soon. I'm hoping to go in either later this month or beginning of next.

There is never a good time for my mom to go off on a rant defending Kim Davis and accusing the Supreme Court of "persecuting Christians" but while I'm sitting next to her driving our SUV is definitely not it.
