What are you thinking?

Dinner out with bf (and bf's mom). Was great, had lobster for first time in ages. Only huge downside? Boyfriend's mom. It was okay at first but then she had a few long island teas with rum. So she got tipsy and then stole the salt and pepper shaker before we left. Honestly, she's kind of embarrassing. In hindsight, wish me and bf would've gone by ourselves. But then again, I kind of wish that every time she tags along with us for whatever reason.

Like this Sunday. Bf and I might go down to San Francisco to see my mom and sisters. I'm honestly happy that boyfriend's mom has no interest in going because I kind of cringe at the idea of what my mom and sisters would think. She'd probably get plastered and say really weird stuff (and racist, going off past history) to my sisters because they're part Japanese- my stepdad was half.

 

I pour my heart out into a post and pretty much no one answers. I write some half-hearted or stupid post and it attracts so much attention...how the heck does that work?

Yep, happens to me all the time.

I didn't expect to get so many replies on my "bad words" poll, but I did.

Today I created a new 'movie' thread and didn't get as many as I'd hoped, considering I thought it was a cute topic.

One often succeeds when they don't try.

 

Oh no, I don't want you to think that you're selfish. I'm really sorry if I gave you that impression (*hug*) I wrote a post about being a disappointment to my parents and only one person answered. I look back at the times I've written about less serious/more stupid stuff like if there's a "bisexual privilege", and if we should embrace bigger people's bodies, and my older posts reek of so much immaturity...but they all got so much attention and started some controversy and arguments. So I'm more or less amused or put off by that than by no one really replying to my serious posts if that makes sense.

Another hug for you though! And a kiss (*hug*)

If I saw that thread I would have posted. I'm sorry you're a disappointment to your parents, and that has happened to me as well. You don't know how many times I have tried to post my questioning gender identity threads, and no one replies. So, I'm usually left with confusion and all that . (*hug*) I huggles you back!!​

So close to Summer being over...

 

University applications open for me on Wednesday. I'm torn between anxiety and feeling confidently excited.

I knew it was coming soon, but I didn't quite realise how soon until I was mailed my PIN for applications yesterday. I'm just glad that the two universities I intend to apply to share the same central admissions process instead of individual applications.

On the plus side, today felt beautifully warm compared to how the weather has been all winter.

To be honest, even I'm sick of how little I talk about anything but school. :lol:

 

With the help of a friend I recently came to the conclusion that I'm damaged rather than broken... progress, progress... because unlike broken, damaged is healable, right? Yay...

 

I wish there were other options.. €_€

 

I want to be able to let go of people. Or rather, the hope of ever being with certain people. Unfortunately, once I love a person, I'll almost always have feelings for them one way or another =/
This has been on my mind a lot recently, so I guess that's what I'm thinking.

 

ok... if i can wander around drunk through tokyo, kyoto, and osaka and still find my way home (which involves boarding numerous trains, buses, etc..) I can go anywhere.... except maybe russia or the middle east or africa.... yeeeaaaahhhh....

 

thinking of how much I have to do.. conversations I have to have... how I'm tired and would rather just go back to bed and let the world figure out it's own shit without me.

 

Is it just me or does the site seem more slow and empty?
