Thanks, and luckily I found out it's scheduled for next week. It's in environmental quality; though, I don't think this is what I want long term.

This is day one of healing, and I already feel lighter. My heart still feels a bit heavy with guilt, but it's slowly going away. I wonder where I'll be a week from now.

I'm so sorry. I'm glad she's finally at peace though. I can't imagine what that was like on either of your ends. She fought bravely.

Honestly, whenever people talk bad about my state; it really ticks me off.

I mean, I know there are plenty of conservative and homophobic people in Alabama... *and has some loud MINORITY of rednecks* But Alabama has one of the most liberal cities in the South (of which I live relatively near)

It's not as bad as what people say - even if they do have truth to there word. It honestly angers and makes me feel bad for myself when I see a lot of negativity from outside people directed to a place where I've lived in for most of my life.

But then conversely - There are some pretty shitty things that happen in Alabama and it tends to upset not just the LGBT+ community but quite a few groups as well - and it upsets me too.

Even then, I just get so mixed up in my emotions when I see all of this controversy and I know I'm being too sensitive... but it hurts my feelings hearing the comments people make. Then, it still hurts my feelings whenever I see more stuff that may seem to justify what people say.

I don't know... I'm just :***: angry right now. I'm feeling a lack of compassion from people and it makes me want to FIGHT, but I hate fighting, and I dislike feeling this way even more.

My condolences. It's really sad to hear, but I'm sure you'll be able to do honour to her memory, as the loving son of a wonderful mother. May she rest in peace.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Having been in your shoes, I hope the funeral helps put you and your family on your way to closure.

My backup plan is definetly able to happen if I get kicked out one day. I have enough money too sustain myself for enough time to get a job. Atleast I'm hoping it is.

I don't know why I am watching this anti-gay drivel on youtube, but it is almost entertaining to see what they say about the "gay agenda" and "social entertaining". They claim that LGBT people play the victim when they are the ones playing the victim.
