    I dunno...

Anyway, somebody please do me one. Pretty please? I feel like re-introducing myself from the depths of about a week ago, so this'll do, so yeah...

    For Miles16:

    1. If you could be any animal for a day, what would it be and why?
I'm assuming this means real, nothing along the likes of a fire-breathing dragon.

    A platypus.

It's just such a bizarre little animal. But also it is a very underestimated creature... it has poisonous spurs, which some people know. However, I've been informed they are capable of hearing your heartbeat in the water. That's just predatory status, LOL.

    They're cute, too.

    2. Favorite book(s) you’ve read and why?
I'll do two; one Non-Fiction and one Fiction.

    Non-Fiction:
The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich.

If you ever wanted to know an almost-daily account of Nazi Germany, this is the book. It's split into a few categories: Hitler, the rise of the Nazi Party, the political shenanigans, the early successes in the war, the whole Nazi World Order, the beginning of the end, and the final days. It's all here.

It's interesting to see how a lot of politicians today "borrow" from the Nazis, especially in regards to public relations. Just things like that, that you are made aware of, have relevance in the present.

Also, it makes me happy when a book kills Hitler.

What? Is that a bad thing? LOL.

    Fiction:
    A Wizard of Earthsea.

This is tied with Romance of the Three Kingdoms, but I went with this instead. Coin toss.

There's several things in this book that have left an impression on me. Primarily the mechanics of magic, how dragons behave and relate to the world, and the subtle gender politics.

In this world, women gifted in magic, typically do not go beyond a village/community witch. Men typically are encouraged to pursue and advance their magic; but as the series goes on, changes begin to roll along.

It's been said J. K. Rowling was inspired by this series:

Young male wizard goes to a school for magic.
Young male wizard receives a notable scar.
Young male wizard combats a "forsaken" wizard.

Whatever the case is, this series was my first real introduction to Fantasy. While there isn't a great focus on the school life, there are bits, like the great magic duel between the main character and the snobby elite rival. It mostly focuses on the main character, which has pros and cons.

Oh, and a woman, Ursula K. LeGuin, wrote all of these, back in the 1960s. That's something else pretty awesome, too.

    3. Least favorite book(s) you’ve read and why?
Practically anything we were forced to read in school. I can count on one hand, all of the stories from all of the schools I attended, that I actually liked.

Most of the material we had to read was boring. Sure, perhaps the content and symbolism was there, but it was never sold to us properly. Maybe if teachers explained why this was important, and held an intelligent discussion, it might make reading enjoyable.

See, I knew reading could be enjoyable. If it was the right book.

The only exceptions to this are:
    Island of the Blue Dolphins
    12 Angry Men (play)
    And a few short stories.

Island of the Blue Dolphins is the most depressing book to give a 3rd grader. Jesus Christ, everybody dies, nobody gets a happy ending. However, it has a strong female lead, and that made it stand out to me. But I'm rambling...

I'm going to go with anything I was forced to read for a grade.

    4. Been to many/any concerts? Any favorites?
I've not been to any concerts worth mentioning. The ones I have gone to, weren't anything special, and were either regional bands or Christian youth group trips.

But... I was the most hardcore kid at those trips, LOL. I guess that would make them my favorite.

    5. Any embarrassing moments you’re willing to share?
I've shared a few before. It's hard to think of something I haven't shared...

In general, the most embarrassing thing is slipping, especially if you're trying to walk or move fancily. Ice is my most dedicated hater, because it sabotages my moves, LOL.

Once I was sliding across the community college sidewalks, making my way to the parking lot. The goal was to spin around, but no, that didn't happen... I started to fall but caught myself... only to wind up trying to get up, but continually slipping. This continued for a few seconds, and I am quite confident I looked absolutely ridiculous. I should have just fallen.

    6. Humanity’s destiny…what do you think it is? Is there such a thing? Can it be changed?
I've thought about this much longer than I wanted to, and it would be easy to go into some super elaborate answer. But, I'm going to keep it as condensed as possible:

Humanity's destiny is only controllable to the degree, they master the elements. The further we advance in science, the more possibilities will open up. At the same time, misuse is possible and can set back humanity, but this has been how it's always been. Some folks want a better world -- with them in charge.

Until we can travel the edges of the cosmos, avoid death, and cure our sicknesses, we will only be able to delay the inevitable. Is it possible to do all of this? Perhaps, and perhaps not. I'd like to think so, but I'd rather be enjoying myself than bitching and sulking, thinking nothing good ever happens, and trying to be some brooding tough guy, LOL.

Humanity's destiny, if it is decides to accept, is to craft it's own destiny... subject to nobody but themselves. Death, illness, distance, they'll bow to us.

So in a sense there is and isn't destiny. If we do nothing, it is reasonable to believe we'll die. But if we push beyond our current boundaries, who knows? Without the fear of sickness or dying, we have health and time to shift the world.

Humanity has changed the realities before, with new advancements and inventions, so it stands to reason they may still change it.

Now, whether we'll get there, that depends entirely on our pioneers and their loyalties.

    7. Any well-known (or even less well-known) philosophers whose ideas you like/find particularly fascinating?
    Nietzsche is interesting.

Marx, Muhammad, and Bushido, are what come to mind. I know, strange combination, but then again I'm a bit strange myself. And yes I know, Bushido isn't a 'philosopher', but it's hard to attribute it to somebody.

Each of these represents a different aspect of humanity, and this makes them fascinating. It's almost like a puzzle of sorts, but now I'm becoming philosophical, LOL.

    8. Favorite movie(s)?
    Jaws
    Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
    Aliens
    The Great Escape
    12 Angry Men

    9. Least favorite movie(s)?
    Jaws 3-D
    Jaws: The Revenge
A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge
    Killjoy
    Will Ferrell movies

Those are the ones that come to mind immediately, but there are plenty out there. I have an affinity for watching terrible films.

    10. Paper or plastic?
Paper for my money, and plastic on my bitches, LOL.

    No, paper.

From Kaiser's questions (sorry it took this long)

    1) Would you rather be drunk and lost in the jungle for 2 days or bored and stuck in an elevator for 2 days?

Drunk and lost in the jungle. First, being stuck in an elevator doesn’t sound like much fun. Second, even if I die, I wouldn’t really know it, because I’m really drunk.

    2) What are some of your favorite color schemes?
    Red, White and Blue
    Red, Black and Yellow/Gold.

Lavender and White is also very nice.

    3) You're being forced to live on an island for 5 years, you can bring 6 other people from EC, who do you bring and what role do you assign them?

    AwesomeGaythiest - Financing
    Pret Allez - Medic, Hunter
    Aussie - Transportation
    Gen - Electricity plant
BradtheCat - Construction/tech, keeper of peace
    HuskyPup - Hunter, gatherer

    4) You're in a RPG, what kind of character are you?
With one small exception, I am always a mage, whether I like it or not.

    5) What makes you sexy?
I actually figured out I have the potential for a pretty nice booty today. Especially with HRT, I could end up getting a curvier figure, which might boost it.

    6) You're given the ability to make any 5 people fall in love with you. However, the catch is, you're only given 10 years more to live. Do you accept? If so, who do you pick?

No, I don’t accept. First, I have a harder time staying single. Second, I’m too curious of a person, and I want to know what the future holds in more than 10 years.

    7) You're a professional wrestler, what is your theme song?

Dragonforce’s Through the Fire and Flames wouldn’t be a bad idea.

    8) You're paid a million dollars to direct a porno, what will you call the film?

“They paid me a million dollars to upload a crappy video to Pornhub”

    9) Time-travelling pirates or cybernetic vikings?

Time traveling pirates. First, we might see some cybernetic vikings. Also. Time-travel. And pirates. It’s like Doctor Who, Firefly and Pirates of the Caribbean. Or just imagine if Captain Jack Sparrow actually got so drunk, he transcended dimensions.

    10) What are some words of wisdom you can share with the EC community?

Wait. Wait, but keep fighting. We’ll achieve what we want, and what we’ve been fighting for. There’s a generation of people that are very opposed to us, but there’s progress that’s been done. If not, we’d be seeing the deeds in Russia in the US, UK, everywhere. That generation is on its last leg, so we need to wait. The people we’re fighting aren’t that generation. It’s the generation that will be making laws in 20+ years from now, and they seem more partial toward us.

    11) You're to direct a remake of the original Star Wars trilogy. You must cast the following parts, with EC Members:

    Luke Skywalker: Awesomegaythiest
    Leia: Pret Allez
    Han Solo: Aldrick
    Chewbacca: BradtheCat
    R2-D2: Huskypup
    C-3P0: Gen
    Emperor Palpatine: Martin
    Darth Vader: Chip
    Boba Fett: Kaiser
    Yoda: Greatwhale

    12) A time-traveling terrorist group, at gunpoint, hands you a bag of cocaine, an unloaded AK-47, and a history book. You are told you must go back in time and give each of these, to a different era of history, that is at least 50 years in the past from today. Where do you go, and what do you do?

I give the history book to Hitler. Perhaps he’ll learn his lesson, and quickly. Maybe he’ll even tell the news to Stalin and Mussolini.

I give the AK-47 to Marie Antoinette. Because I like the idea Antoinette pointing an unloaded futuristic gun to anybody trying to invade France.

I give the cocaine to Julius Ceasar. Because it’d be funny to see him run paranoid of people trying to kill him, and the coke ends up killing him before anybody can touch a knife.

    13) You are made into the dictator of Canada. But you must wed somebody, invade one country, and create one law: who you do wed? Who do you invade? What law do you make?

I wed Chris Pratt, for total irony.
I’m invading the US, for many reasons.
My law is that there shall be a set time in the day to rest.

    14) You're a secret agent, what is your codename?

    *insert pterodactyl screeching here*

    15) Would you rather train under Iron Man or Batman?

Iron Man, easily. Batman doesn’t seem to care much for sidekicks, and Iron Man is way more fun. He’ll also end up teaching me way more than Batman ever could. I’ll even build my own robo-suit.

    16) Who would you hate to be trapped in an elevator with, for 24 hours? Why?

Scott Lively. Pat Robertson and the members of WBC are at least entertaining. Lively is way more serious about what he does and what he says. Hearing a bunch of strange homophobic things is one thing. Constantly not knowing if I’m going to survive the next second would be pure torture.

    17) You're given ten million dollars to host a party. What is the theme, and what will you be wearing as host?

The theme is obviously going to be Star Wars, and I will be dressed as Palpatine. If you need me, I’ll be sitting in a huge chair, drinking my umpteenth blue milk.

    18) Irresistibly sexy body with a helium-sounding voice or sexiest voice with a not-so-sexy body?

Sexiest voice. Not-so-sexy body is already going into subjectivity, and chances are, I’ll end up liking it. I’m a bottom, so everything has to do with feel, not looks. I could have the ugliest thing you could think of (even Jabba the Hutt), and if that perfect voice is coming out, I’m already drawn. Not to mention, I sing regularly, and I take it quite seriously.

Also: The average human brain registers sound before sight.

    19) Could you last 1 minute boxing with Mike Tyson?

    Fuck no.

    20) Do you love me?

    Yes, probably. Very much.

These questions were asked by Ender
    1. Favorite smell? The smell of rain
    2. What movie made you cry the most? The Laramie Project (This is a movie and a play, but I saw it as a play. You have no idea how much I cried though)
    3. What movie made you laugh the most? I laugh like a maniac in every funny movie, so...
    4. If you had to compare yourself to one fictional character, who would it be and why? I feel like I'd compare myself to Max from Life is Strange (the videogame), because she's awkward like I am and I relate to her on a personal level when it comes to certain situations she's been in.
    5. What virtue do you value most in another person? Hopefulness
    6. Name something you love about yourself (no need for modesty here)? I love my naturally curly hair
    7. In your opinion, what is the perfect hair/eye/skin color combination? I can't think of any combination, but I'm just going to say that I love green eyes!!
    8. Telepathy or Telekinesis? Telepathy
    9. What fandoms do you associate with, if any? Mostly the animal fandom (Kesha), I also sometimes associate with Joey Graceffa's fandom.
