Anyone ever have someone walk up to them and ask them out?

Nope, I have had people ask for my number but never had anyone ask me out on the spot. Thank God.

 

Yes, a drunk guy at the grocery store who tried to woo me with a can of herrings he was buying. Needless to say he got rejected. :lol:

I got my first girlfriend that way.

 

A few times...by girls. The weirdest one happened when I was in my 20's as I sat in a subway facing the inside, this girl sitting across me sees that I'm Jewish (I wore a yarmulke at the time) and starts hitting on me in her loudest possible voice. Although I was single, I lied and told her I was engaged...she still persisted after that!

I got off at the next stop...

 

Pffft. I wish.

Many times - unfortunately I keep thinking they just want to hang out and end up on accidental dates with guys.
I once had a random guy walk up to me and say he thought he was in love with me when I was dancing. That was fun.

 

My first day ever at overnight camp, we had a field trip but I didn't know anyone. This one girl was nice and offered to hang out with me. The first day I met her, she was wearing an "I heart boys" shirt. She asked me about the boys at my school and talked a lot about boys. I got the idea that she really liked boys a lot.

On another field trip, we were in a small group. That first girl I met saw this guy and wouldn't stop obsessing over how cute he was. Then she was asking us if she should ask for his number. Then she walked up to him and asked for his number. He gave her his number. When she came back to the group, she was all excited and kept saying, "I can't believe I just did that." It was pretty epic.

 

Nope, never have..
I'm not sure how I'd feel/react if someone did that. Might make me uncomfortable or atleast feel shoked if it was ever to happen.

 

Nope....I have never in my life been asked out in person...when I was younger all the guys I went out with my friends set us up then once I found out I liked girls I was always asked out through a text message or one of those hand written notes that people used to write in middle school

 

Sorta, once I guy I knew through a mutual friend up and asked me out. It was a little weird, since I'd usually been on the other end of such exchanges.

Really, I wish people would be direct and ask bluntly for dates or numbers. It'd make things so much easier.
