Then I found out you're sweet and have a charming sense of humour, which softened the first impression considerably.

 

Maybe I said this before but, your username stands out as one of my favorites on EC.

Really nice boy in a pretty bad situation. He must have considerable strength to keep it together dealing with a bunch of assholes everyday.

First impression is that you are a bit odd, but have an air of good wit about you. And I suppose, based on your self-descript, that you also have an active imagination. That and I like you username, despite having no idea what it means.

Since I've known you for awhile, I'll just go by your impression now

"Kodo"? I adore that name. I think I may name a future character that; you seem a lot more calculated now (in a good way) than previously. you're cool

 

Ah yes, the username. :lol: Well with an odd username, I suppose I have to give an odd explanation. The username is made up of two words, mantelpiece and canter. "Canter" like a horse pacing around which is strong, unyielding and powerful.

But that's not why I chose "Canter". I chose it because I used to get called "horse girl" a lot because of my hair and because I had a friend who was madly obsessed with horses. Also because I got called "Gallop girl" as well because of the way I run. I also like to think that I chose it because a canter is slower paced than a Gallop, therefore more thought has to go into it and control with the horse. Although you have to be careful with a horse in full gallop, otherwise you'll go hurtling out of control.

And I chose the "piece" bit because of the idea that you place your most valuable items up on display on a mantelpiece, like pictures and keys or possibly reminders. Therefore building up a sense of identity. That and "The secret show" where this character would stand by the mantelpiece and get a silly spy name to go by.

So now you now what a "Canterpiece" is! A cantering mantelpiece.
