No, but I don't think it should matter. Religion is a choice, but they're still a protected class.

Of course it is a choice, straight people choose to like the opposite sex, don't you know that? I like girls on every Monday and Wednesday. Friday is bigender special. The rest of the week I am totally crazy for guys. See, not only I can choose my sexual attraction, I can plan it ahead too.

Think of all those super-religious people who have mental breakdowns when they realize that they are gay. Why would they choose that? That is actually a pretty interesting question to think about.

I completely agree with this statement. Your sexuality is not a choice. However, the way you handle it or whether or not you act on it is a choice.

No, personally I don't think it is a choice however I think that sexuality is a fluid thing and that nobody is 100% straight or gay. Your sexuality can be affected by circumstances, but it's mostly something you dot decide on

Nope, this quote is bullshit and we need to stop saying it. It's factual that sexuality is and can be fluid, but It's simply false that nobody is 100% straight or gay, It's just...more rare.

Religion is fluid but not everyone is "A little bit agnostic". Sexual preferences are fluid but not everyone is "A little bit into every body shape and fetish there is". Food preferences are fluid but not everyone likes the taste of every food or will in the future.

Fluid just means it can change, not that everyone has the ability to be open to everything. Which also means that since sexuality is fluid, nobody is 100% bisexual or pansexual either, since an identifying bisexual can become an exclusive heterosexual in the future.

Your sexuality is something are born with/develop through a number of factors related to nature and nurture. In my case, I have always been just a bit gay, but it developed more up until now where I'm just homoflexible, so its more nurture in my case

No, but if I had a choice, I'd choose to be Pan.

I think the way you are brought up, the environment you are in and the people you meet may have some kind of impact, but I think the feelings are there from the start

    Of course it is!

I mean, after all, all the 'crying my eyes out's, all the self loathing, all the anxiety and paranoia...hell, all of my issues in regards to sexuality...yep, they all come from having a choice to be a different...oh wait.

I must admit, I've laughed a little at this, I thought you were saying a Pan.

Yeah no. I really wished at one time I could change it, and tried a lot of things to do so. I've become okay with things now, but from that experience I can with some certainty say that, at least for me, it isn't a choice.
