You know what this means though? Someone must have told him the plan. We have a traitor in our midst!

He is right though, unmarried women are more likely to have abortions. Unless, y'know, they're fucking gay.

    It is over 900 000!!!
So...by not making gay marriage equal, we would make more gay children?
Sounds like a win-win for us, one hand, marrige equality, the other, more gay babies!

One, you're wrong as two girls can't impregnate each other last time I checked. Two what's is wrong with abortion.

I'm surprised he didn't cite that the abortion rate for unmarried women will increase. Realistically, we all know this won't have any affect on the total abortion rate, but as it would reduce the number of unmarried women (one marriage can now take 2 off the market, so to speak), causing the same number of abortions to increase the rate.

I remember reading somewhere before the election that one of these FRC idiots once declared that "terrorist doctors are performing abortions on women that aren't even pregnant!"

    Figure that one out...

I propose that more gay sex and less heterosexual sex will in fact lead to fewer abortions.

    (!)

    Agreed.

I'd also like have two clinics on the ocean in Florida and California, with luxury hotels and spas, and and offer to fly people in, with preference to those states where abortion providers are scarce. I get so tired of how the anti-choice movement keeps chipping away at reproductive rights.

It's hilarious that in Texas, anti-abortion clowns are outraged that Planned Parenthood is building a new surgical center to comply with the new unnecessary abortion restrictions. They were supposed to take it lying down and go out of business, remember?

The anti-choice movement in America scares me to no end. They've given up on overturning Roe V. Wade and instead are trying to regulate it out of existence by using things like the length of the grass outside the building, the width of the hallways, the size of the janitor's closets, and even trying to change zoning laws.

This wasn't a thread to rip pro-life people, just a thread to point out the absurdity of this one man.

    (italics mine)

I couldn't agree more. It's this slew of sneaky technicalities that make me hope groups like Planned Parenthood continue to find ways to provide access to care, despite efforts to restrict it. If I had more $$$, they're among the groups I'd definitely donate to.

I've read that four times and I'm still scratching my head.

So...the introduction of same sex marriage naturally causes straight married men to go "you know what darling, I fancy me a gay marriage! It's been nice and all, but adiós!"?

Well I guess that's our dating pool expanded drastically, fantastic news!
