Hey everyone I have a question Question #1: I know transwomen are women, and that gay men are attracted to men. But given that still, the vast majority of transwomen are pre-op and have a penis, couldn't a gay man (anyone who's a gay man) be truly attracted to a transwoman?
In regards to people who are completely straight or gay...they have different forms of attraction. Some care more about the mind or the gender expression, some care more about the body, and others require the gender identity to match the genitals. So sure, maybe some gay guys could be physically attracted based on their bodies, but since they are women, I can't see a long term relationship working.
On the surface I don't think I could honestly have a lasting relationship. That said I wouldn't say it's impossible. I just personally think it's unlikely.
^Okay, how about having sex with them? Like, enjoy it? A transwoman with a bubble butt? lol sorry for the language
I don't think I could be with anyone who identifies as gay, romantically or sexually. It's sort of invalidating if someone was with me and kept identifying as gay. I've actually never had any gay men flirt with me though, I didn't really know this was a thing. I've heard of lesbians liking trans men though.
Being 100% honest I would probably be a little freaked out. It's out of the norm. And I really do like biological males.(I'm not saying being trans is weird, I fully support increased rights for that community, I don't think it's my place to tell someone else who they should be, It's just a foreign experience for me personally) Again I personally think a sex would be very unlikely for me personally. I can't speak for all gay guys though. I hope I'm not coming off as inconsiderate, I just wanted to answer honestly.
Transwoman are just like any other woman. So maybe pre op it might work but I doubt during transition the relationship will last.
