Telemarketing. I actually tried it, but after the training day I realized that I just can't do it because talking with people on the phone makes me extremely nervous (especially if i have to try to SELL something). I'd rather do (almost) any other job, as long as it's something that I'm physically capable of.
Doctor/nurse, janitor, house cleaner, anything else that involves cleaning other people's filth, teacher, soldier, prostitute, porn star (only because I don't have the equipment, wouldn't mind doing cute Japanese girls for a living [must be J-Porn industry]), anything in the US government because I hate this country..
Wow so many people said teacher! And sales, I loved sales! XD For me, I never ever want to EVER have to work for a corporation again. I worked for the company that owns brands such as Victoria's Secret, Love Pink, etc. and literally I was having anxiety attacks everyday after work because of the suppressed rage. Having to go back to that would probably shorten my life considerably. Other than that; anything involving being the center of attention (...discluding teaching and public speaking...>.>...), anything against my morals (mainly killing/violence, including animals and the planet), and anything involving food, especially food prep.
- Anything involving hurting animals - Office jobs - Labour jobs which I find uninteresting such as plumbing, painting, building, etc. - Factory jobs - Working for somewhere where I know I'm doing the wrong thing, such as law corruption etc.
Cop. Never have any positive contact with the public. Cops I know have an attitude and their only real friends are other cops. How much job satisfaction can be had from writing traffic tickets? Politician. Many go in with the right motivation but it seems that by the time they leave they become just another sleazy bottom feeder who's main job is soliciting campaign $$ and getting re-elected. Any job that requires union membership.
I could never work in a hospital because I have a fear of hospitals and a fear of sick people. It would be the absolute worst job for me. Also, as someone who's, in medical terms, a "smallfry" , anything involving a lot of physical labor wouldn't work for me either.
Call center phone work. NEVER. Everything else is plausible to some extent. I've pretty much "done it all" anyway, on the lower employee level.
I work in international affairs and I like politics, but I would NEVER run for elected office. Running a campaign is soul-crushing, and if you do win more often than not you become a slave to the interests that bankrolled you. And if you have a family it's even worse for them. So...nope! And obviously I wouldn't want to do anything illegal either
You hit the bulls eye about running for political office! And the media will dig up dirt about you all the way back to birth. Especially if they disagree with your views. Their job is to sell commercial time and entertain 24 hours a day. Why subject your family to that?
I wouldn't like being a doctor, nurse, dentist, child care, old people care giver, wouldn't work in restaurant or call centers.. Let's just say I've got what I like.
