Do you see yourself fighting in a war?

I'd fight in any war up to WWII.

 

I think I would, if there was something really good to fight for. In e.g. the Ukraine crisis, I wouldn't fight for any side, they're all immoral. In Syria, I could consider fighting alongside the YPG.
In general, no. War is simply wrong. But, as I said, if there was something really worthwhile fighting for and it seemed the only option - then yes.

I would never fight. I would either train as a medic, or be one of those crazy people who hide from the enlistment agents, and soon are sent to jail. Not that mandatory enlistment will ever happen again in England...

 

I've been fighting a war all of my life, on several fronts.


If you mean a government backed takeover, then no.

 

I wouldn't because knowing my luck I would be killed before I even entered a battlefield and even if I got that far I have the feeling there would be a constant stream of piss running down my leg till the war was over

 

Everybody keeps acting like going to war is a conscious decision with deliberate, opinionated planning involved. If you ever go to war it will likely not be your choice nor will it matter what your view on the conflict is. People that fight wars aren't the same people who make wars.

I could never kill anyone for anything....I may love England, but it is not worth the life of another person, no matter who they are, their life is worth just as much as mine and my country.

 

If it was something I felt very strongly about then there is a chance. But I'm naturally clumsy and extremely squeamish so...

 

If my country deems it necessary, I'll take up arms in defence of my people.

 

Depend's on what's at stake in this war. I'm the extremely selfish type who fights only for his nakama you see

I am infact a female but I have these fantasies where I am in war and I look totally badass with a machine gun and all and I slaughter all those motherfuckers from the ISIS. Because they keep fucking threatening Australia. I think it's them. Yeah.. I would be brutal as fuck too.

i'm the first son in my family and my parent really want me to be a doctor so i took med school.
yesterday, May 2nd 2015 a light of hope struck
my ex-military general uncle said that he can gave me glowing recommendation to enter the army as an army doctor.

it might be not in the front-line but that might be that's the closest thing i can get to "fighting in a war"

To be honest I don't really remember, but I do remember being obsessed with this kidz bop cd I had when I was younger. Now that I think about it my first cd was probably Tom Chapin when I was like 6...........

 

war is a horrible thing which I hope I never have to experience firsthand. but if I had to fight I would do it

If me and my family were in immediate danger, yes. If the US was to have another North vs South war absolutely. I know it would never happen but I've seen tons of crazy ass people who idolize Phil Robertson and think a revolution is coming....
