    Congrats on coming out to your parents, looking for me! I'm happy they reacted as they did. Both of my folks have passed on and sometimes I wish I had the opportunity to share who I am with them as you have.

    Well congrats!
    Since i came out to m parents yesterday i know how hard it is, the fear factor is a big thing for sure! but like you said some things have to be done

    Coming out to my kids, at that time, my son was 17 and my daughter 20, was hard but they were supportive. My daughter was extremely upset, and continues to be about the break-up of the family, not my sexuality. She worries about the holidays and if we will all be together and misses our vacations, outings etc. Harder than coming out was when I told my son I was moving out; that was the worst day of my life except for the day my father passed away.

    my wife and i split, almost 2 years ago and it is hard. my son was 14 at the time and he had worries too, we all have had to adjust to new "normals" he splits his holidays between me and her. gets 2 Christmases, 2 Easter celebrations etc. when i came out to him he was very supportive, he does have some questions on the gender identity part of things but he is very accepting.
