Lucas pretty much took the same stance to the Expanded Universe back when he was in charge of the franchise. The films, according to Lucas and Disney, are the only canon. But that doesn't mean that we can't still enjoy all the awesome stories that came out of the EU. For me the best Star Wars villain will forever be Thrawn. He didn't need the Force to win a battle; he did it by outsmarting his enemies.

Basically. I don't give a shit what they say. For me it's like they said "we don't want all this stuff in the same place, so we're making it into two universes--we'll handle the shitty one."

Nope. KOTOR is no longer canon but I don't care.

I'm disappointed that the Expanded Universe is no longer canon, but I will forever view it as such. I just recently got into the KotOR games, and I really enjoy them because of the effort that was put into plot development. There's actually a story behind them, and that's something that can be difficult to find in video games today.

I like Star Wars. It's enjoyable and entertaining. Sadly though, there are some people I know who just turn me away from it sometimes.

I admit I don't like Star Wars very much. But, I do love Return of the Jedi. One of my favorite movies ever.

Return of the Jedi is fine, but I like The Empire Strikes Back more. Not so much for the plot or whatnot, since all three films should be taken in together, but due to Yoda's debut. I loved how Yoda was so ridiculous and childish, when first meeting Luke, and the banter between them. Of course, it was all a front, and he's a Jedi Master. But it was amusing to see, and sorely lacking in any new medium.

Maybe I just have an affinity for serious characters who play silly.

Return of the Jedi also has Yoda's death. Naturally, this was not a pleasant moment to witness.

I love Episodes IV, V, and VI.

The prequels...... not so much. I just disliked them. Although the one scene with yoda fighting dooku like a mexican jumping bean..... that amused the heck out of me.

According to Kotaku at least, Battlefront is going to suuuuckkk. It has like half the features of 2 and will probably have a Death Star's cost in DLC.

I find your lack of Star Wars disturbing.

    I like the originals.

Everything else was just f**ked up, money making, greed movies.

I'm more of a Trekkie anyway, but will pretty much watch any kind of scifi.
