That's REALLY sad OMG!! The thing I noticed was he has a loving boyfriend holding him, and that was sweet <3
There's people that are forced to deal with homophobia alone. It probably helped him a lot to have a boyfriend. c:

I'm no law expert but I'm going to say no. It is a private school but if it doesn't say in the contract you can't be gay then I don't think they can kick you out for that. If his parents have been paying tuition he deserves the education/degree from that school unless of course he broke one of their rules.

I almost wish I went to a Christian School. I was always so sassy in Sunday School I can't even imagine what I would be like everyday.

    This is sad.
I hope he will find a good, decent school where he'll get what he deserves : Respect and admiration for being honest.

You want a clean, perfect school? Go check your students computers for porn, go ahead...

I personally believe that only the State should provide education and that religion is barred access.

It's pretty annoying how private schools can expel students for pretty much any reason. Most of what the Bible says about gay people is misinterpreted, anyway.

I agree mostly with this. Maybe not making it the exclusive right of the state, but have private schools require some sort of government accreditation that precludes a religious atmosphere.

Could not disagree more. In this country at least, we have these freedoms because quite frankly the government drops the ball in teaching our kids. Competition can naturally force the public schools to not just teach for a test but to actually provide a disciplined, structured environment where children can learn.

Other than the homophobia and sex ed., my Christian school did a lot right. The challenges allowed me to coast through my freshman year of college for the most part. The essay tests were much more frequent in college, but I was well prepared and had my study skills down to a science of sorts.

My school is catholic but it isn't private but the teachers and everyone is fine with gay people. I am surprised actually because I haven't met any homophobic people here at all. There are 8 or 9 LGBT people in my year. My school is also very catholic.
Even in religion classes the teacher's aren't biased at all. Headteachers like his shouldn't be allowed to be headteachers at all!!
