I often feel guilty of wanting to cut my hair short or dressing in a suit and bow tie, not a dress. I think this comes from my mother. When I went to get my hair cut, I wanted to cut it short, but I asked my mom what she thought and she said that she likes it long. I think that my family thinks that I am like this for attention and that makes me feel guilty sometimes, especially when I talk about how I want to express myself.

you shouldn't feel guilty. You want what you want, and if it is how you want to express yourself, then it is for you, not for attention, regardless of what your family says.
