My therapist. I started seeing her because I was struggling with coming to terms with my sexuality. I couldn't even bring myself to say the words "I'm gay," but she got it. She took it extremely well and it's obvious that she's well-educated when it comes to LGBT issues.

The first person aside from my therapist/psychiatrist/doctor was one of my roommates. He had an amazing initial reaction, but later on he started showing his true colors and he turned out to be a homophobe.

Can't quite remember but my friend Jane was definitely one of the first
Pretty much told her over text that the reason I broke up with a mutual friend (a girl) was something I was really nervous about saying. Then after a good ten minutes of guessing she sent the message "you gay:astonished:" still laugh about it.

My friend of 13 years. I found out I was bi when I started having feelings for her in high school, but she moved to Toronto after we graduated. We went for dinner to catch up about 2 summers ago and it was one those restaurants where they put paper on the tables so i wrote it instead of saying it. She still doesn't know i used to like her, I would never tell her that.

The rector at my church who was so sweet and kind. She assured me that I wasn't an abomination, that God loved me, perhaps even more so as I wasn't fighting with Him over the worth of his creation and not something flawed.

Then my therapist who seemed to treat it as an everyday event nothing special.

Then a friend who I knew was gay and would be discreet. He was very welcoming, and said he always knew. Funny that. I didn't.

The first person for me was another guy, but not in person. I thought he was the same way (but as far as I know I was wrong).

I first came out to three friends together. They were accepting and didn't really mind too much. One of them is not my friend anymore, because now he is a dick.

A close friend who I met on my first day of college, though I didn't tell him until almost exactly 7 years later via email.

Weirdly, I think I first came out to someone I barely knew at the time who latter become one of my closest friends, that was five years ago too... And shortly after I said it out loud for the first time after one of my long time friends came out to me as Bi, I in turn told him I was trans, funny thing is that has happened to me several times xD "I'm bisexual," "Oh, cool, I'm trans!" "Cool," or the reverse with me coming out first.

Myspace first, but in person? That was a cousin of mine and a close friend when I was 11 or 12; as bi. As trans, my mom or another friend at 16.

I told my boyfriend. He told me that man or woman, both or neither, he loves me, and he'll see me through this all the way.

My cousin, she was reluctant to accept it and kept saying it was because of the anxiety disorder that I am feeling, that it is transference. She accepted it finally after several months and joked for me not to be a weird towards her. . . didn't expect her to say that but I understood how awkward she felt as she can be critical and outspoken.
