What video game are you playing?

Did it really have fixed camera angles? I played the original MGS3 a couple of times, but there was a long time between my last run and me replaying it on PS3, and I don't remember thinking the camera was different.

Fantastic game, though; definitely in my top ten of all time and my favorite MGS game.

 

I am trying to finish Skyrim~ I doubt I'd be able to. =_=

 

Yeh, you'd get spotted by enemies from off-screen, which is annoying. With Subsistence you can actually turn the camera around and, you know, see your surroundings.

Just started Quantum Break. Love it so far; damned interesting premise, and the execution seems pretty well done up till now.

 

I guess that never bothered me since I remember searching every new area in first person and making a note of where everybody was. Then before I did any moves I remember that there is one guy who might see me if I do that and check for him before I proceed.

That's one of the things that makes me pretty good at stealth games; I've really good situational awareness and don't need to see an enemy to know the general location of them after I've seen them once.

I was playing Garry's Mod.

 

Well I seem to be getting the hang of it now... I think...

 

I just finished my favorite game Twilight Princess. Gonna do hero mode next! A friend let me borrow his copy of Infamous so that'll be next and in between I'm playing pokemon alpha sapphire.

 

After I catch up on my sleep, I'm going to play Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus (vita) and Shovel Knight (PS4)!

Hey what's dirt rally like?

 

I'm half way through Shovel Knight. I completed the first level of Sigma Plus

What racing games do you play?

I recommend Dirt Rally you're a fan of rally or you enjoy realistic racing games. If you'd prefer an arcade style racing game that is easy for your friends to pick up and play, then I recommend TrackMania Turbo or Mario Kart 8.

Dirt Rally is challenging and rewarding. There is an optional introduction mode with gameplay videos explaining/demonstrating rallying techniques, so you'll quickly adapt if you're more used to track racing games.

At the main menu, you can pick 'custom event', and test drive as many rally cars as you want. Then you'll know which cars you want to buy in the main game. Some cars are easier to handle than others... if you don't mind awkward RWD cars, then I take my hat off to you! I picked the Audi Sport Quattro S1 (my fave group B car) and decided to try a time trial. Initially I was cautious, noticing how narrow the track is, and my lack of speed seemed ridiculous. Then I floored it! I crashed into a pile of snow, my car suffered an identity crisis believing itself to be a plane, completed a somersault, unlocked a trophy, and it reminded me that players earn an achievement/trophy for dying the first time in Dark Souls II!

In the main game, I started with the Mini Cooper, saved up credits, bought the Audi Sport Quattro S1, and then the game got easier. Best thing to do is drive carefully, aim to finish in the top 3 in each stage and then you're likely to win the rally. The computer controlled opponents make mistakes more often than you'd probably expect.

The graphics are great, you get more time to admire them after a race if you're watching the replay and thinking '"hell yeah, I finished in one piece"! I won't comment on the game sounds... I listened to my MP3 player!

 

Skyrim and Dead Space 2. ( i just love skyrim...)

 

Thanks for the super detailed response, I love realistic, punishing (but rewarding) driving sims yeah - im a bit weird like that, I'll definitely look at getting this!

 

God playing mgs5 again was fun just messing around...
