I found this almost humorous. Firstly the dramatic music was way over the top. Secondly the way they kept saying "silence the gospel" the way you might say "burn the world to the ground" or "eat live children". And if schools should be liable if someone gets AIDs because they were 'taught to be gay', then they should also be liable in super conservative states if someone gets pregnant because they were Not taught about safe sex.

 

Just more evidence that religious fundamentalism is a mental illness

Okay so I get why they don't like us and they follow there faith alright fine everyone has there own opinions. But why can't u just at the very least be neutral to us? If you just let it go and let us be and not fight us tooth and nail we could do-exist happily is think or am I just wishful thinking? I got 2 friends who are devout Christians and they don't like it it or agree with it but not looking at me or treating me any differently....why cNt everyone else do that? God this world is so full of hate and people who just want to cause mass chaos >_>. Sorry had to rant a bit after seeing the videos. I can deal with the first one even though it's a bit much but the second one I mean really? Putting us in the same category as pedophiles is just wrong! What the hell are you thinking?! Okay rant over lol sorry if it's a big ranting spree xD.

 

There are people with some very crazy ideas about their religion, no less crazy that there are a lot of them. A lot, but not all, anti homosexual bigotry is rooted in specific strains of Christianity that developed around slavery in the US. Those churches are very big into the idea that the world must be made "perfect" and that the way to do this is a highly stratified, authoritarian culture. The way you keep that system perpetuated is a large dose of "others".

 

True and I see the sense you said in that it's just hard to believe there going at it this badly you know? You would think with the bible saying to love thy neighbor and such they would be at least neutral....even a friend of mine who I showed these videos agreed with them and said even though homosexuals preacher peace and so on they don't extend the courtesy to Christians and people who don't agree and la peel them homophobic. It's a two way street there with the Christians preaching about love and mercy and acceptance yet turn around and discriminate against anyone who goes against them. Being raised in a household and being told bible verses and taught to accept anyone and everyone and treat everyone equally and that we're all Gods children it upsets me greatly to see these kind of things all the time and steadily getting worse. hope I explained it somewhat decently of my thoughts lol. Sorry for the long rant again xD and I wish you all good health ^_^.
