Initially it wouldn't be an issue for me but I'm pretty sure our lifestyles wouldn't be compatible. I don't think our (hypothetical) relationship would progress very far.

Why not. In my opinion it wouldn't be any different than any other job. It's a good way to make a living, and as long they keep things strictly professional I wouldn't care.

If they were interested in me, and they seemed like decent folk, hell yeah.

Just because they are strippers or go-go dancers doesn't mean they are sluts, whores, and sex addicts. A job is a job, and those jobs pay good money.

If I looked that good, I'd be doing that myself!

Highly doubtful! I've known a few strippers/gogo dancers... I haven't found any who I would have much in common with. We usually have different values and hobbies. Most are the type of people who party too much and live the "clubbing" lifestyle. They're also usually slutty. I'd be jealous probably. I have not met one who really does it because they need the money and it's the only thing they can do. I wouldn't date a prostitute either -- that is also a job that pays well...

Only if their brains matched their beauty. Otherwise they are just eye candy.

As with anything else, it would depend on the person.

I knew a gay couple (friends of friends) when I lived in AZ who were both carpenters/construction worker, owned a small home remodeling business together and were both bodybuilders. One of them also stripped (including at local gay bars) and his partner was his manager. They were both really nice guys and their house, even though it wasn't large, had been on the receiving end of their skills and looked amazing.

I worked at a gay strip club for about 2 years. Let me just say that about half of my fellow strippers were scumbag hustlers and I wouldn't talk to them outside of that job. My first day I didn't have a locker so I left my pants in the back room - well one of the guys stole 20 bucks out of my pants pocket. Besides those jerks, there were still a few people that I wouldn't hesitate to hang out with.

Yeah, I wouldn't have a problem with it. If there's one thing in life I've never been able to fathom, it's allowing 'status' to limit who you interact with and how. By 'status' I mean someone's job, their financial situation, their background, their social 'class', and all that stuff. I feel so strongly about this that I generally don't get attracted to people who are too similar to me in terms of those sorts of things, which tends to feel a bit suffocating. If I like the person, it doesn't make a difference to me whether they're a banker or a shop assistant or a stripper or unemployed.

And as for the cheating thing, it doesn't seem that relevant. Stripping doesn't inherently have anything to do with cheating, and people who aren't strippers don't seem to have a problem cheating anyway. Plus I don't really get jealous.

Like the Idea of seeing your date naked before hand should be made the first rule of dating.

Most probably  Their job requires them to be good-looking, fun and good with people so dating a stripper wouldn't be that bad...

So long as they're just dancing and not doing anything under the table alongside it, then sure

depends on the person..i would have to question their psychological health as to what led them to want to be strippers/go go dancers in the first place..what was their childhood/parents like..besides that idk maybe..but its a small maybe..probly not tho..
