Did you play with Barbies growing up?

Mostly, "playing" was having fashion shows. I wasn't really interested in the whole "Barbie marries Ken and has babies!" that all my friends were into.

 

Yes I did! So did my male cousin. In fact, half my barbies were hand-me-downs from him haha

 

Black Ken if only I can find a more attractive life size and anatomically correct Ken so we can have some real fun.

 

Yes!!!!! Barbies were my LIFE! They define my childhood... I also loved those poll pockets toys....

 

Yes, I had quite a few of them. I think I tended to play more with the Shellys (one of Barbie's younger sisters) rather than the Barbies though.

 

I used to play Barbies with my brother. I think he liked them more than I did...

 

I played with what was given to me. This included Barbies, Hot Wheels, and a barrage of toys meant for boys, girls, and both.

 

I guess it depends on how you define 'play'.
I hated barbies and dolls so when I got given barbies I used to melt them in half and melt them back whole again but with their limbs in different places.

 

I did. I liked to make the Barbies have contests like for best dancer. And they would have fashion shows and balls.

 

The first time I read this, I was like, "Wait, what?", then I realized, you meant as an event... not... well, yeah...

Yes I did, and it sometimes ended up in quite brutal scenes with hammers involved :lol: But yes, I think I did play with what would be considered "girly" toys, but I also played with action figures. I just liked to play, cus you know.. that's what children do. They shouldn't have to worry about what's considered ok or not to play with by some jackass adults.

 

Yes I was obsessed with Barbies and dolls.

LMFAO I legit did the same things. In fact, I feared I was psychologically disturbed when my sister mentioned this during a family gathering and everyone laughed. My sister was pretty bossy and arrogant. She had this grandiose idea that she was the princess of everything and I hated her everytime she said that. She forced me to play with her or she would throw massive tantrums.Playing and destroying her dolls was my rebellion maybe.:evil:
I still loved typically guy toys and often I made stories where the male saved or married the females when I wasn't bent on destruction.

 

I played with Barbie when I was at daycare. I just loved it - so much fun. I could dress her up and put her shoes on and just have her be the best looking Barbie of anyone.

I also had a Ken doll - which I really was fascinated by his abs. (Okay, maybe I was wondering what was under his undies. But that's a different story. )

 

Not Barbies specifically, but I played with dolls and I loved playing with my sister's dollhouse. There were a lot of signs that I wasn't going to be a normal straight boy =\

 

Yes, and biologically female.

I loved to play with dinosaurs, legos, and Hot Wheels as well.

I had action figures as well that were just a good as Barbies in my opinion.

 

I played with barbies and bratz dolls. I would always undress them and now I know why.....
